FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep my prices as affordable as possible, as I imagine that is a determining factor for everyone. Everyone has a budget to adhere to, and I can certainly appreciate that. I take that into consideration and try to negotiate my pricing as much as possible to accommodate each client individually.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially, I introduce myself and the services I provide with background information on my work experience as a certified translator and interpreter. Then I will request a copy or sample of their document (s) to be sent to me via email so that I may review and assess their scope of work, and then issue a professional quote with my most competitive price and estimated timeline for their consideration. Once approved, I will discuss payment options and answer any questions or concerns the client may have before proceeding with the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Foreign Literature and Languages in a 2-year college program in Montreal, Canada and then completed a 4-year Bachelor's Degree program at the School of Translators and Interpreters at the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Canada, with specialization in Translation and Italian/Spanish Language Studies. I was also certified within several different organizations in the translation/interpretation industry so as to be able to offer certified services to my clients.
