    Awful. I'm pretty sure she put together my bouquets on the way to my wedding. And then didn't bring corsages, altar arrangements, or aisle decor, which we paid for. DO NOT FALL FOR HER ANTICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Do not book this person. My wedding is in 3 weeks and she has ignored my e-mails and phone calls for the past 2-3 weeks. She was suppose to be our officiant and florist and we paid her $680 and now we cannot get in contact with her. I have called her cell phone, business phone, and have e-mailed. Save yourself the stress I am dealing with and find someone else. I do not even know if she is going to show up or if I am going to have flowers for my wedding. This is horrible

    Jen was a pleasure to work with, and we could not have picked a better officiant for our wedding! Jen led a very efficient rehearsal with us, that was fun yet to the point, and not drawn out like some tend to be. Communication with Jen was user friendly and was able to be conducted mostly through e-mail, which helped during a very hectic week before the wedding. Jen was able to accommodate changes into our ceremony less than 24 hours before our wedding, and led a ceremony that didn't leave a dry eye in the house. If all of this was not enough, I called upon Jen to officiate our wedding about 2 weeks before the wedding date after a friend slated to perform our service had to cancel. Her service and dedication to her beautiful work exceeded even our highest hopes for our ceremony .

    Rarely do I get to work with a couple this magnificent! These two had me crying during the ceremony! What energy the couple, their lovely family, and their gracious friends had. I enjoyed this wedding so immensely. Thank you, Emma and Tom, for allowing me to be a part of your magical day and may your marriage be long and joyful and as filled with love as your wedding day on every day! This is the stuff that makes me love what I do.

    How to begin I would suggest any future brides not to hire this florist because she doesn't want to meet with you after the initial meeting. I had very little communication with her. I emailed several times with delayed response. I called her and she never returned my phone calls. She kept my deposit and I havent received services to justify her keeping deposit. I wish i could put no stars instead of one star.

    An unfortunate part of working in a service industry is that on occasion a customer states that they are unhappy. While we wish that this was never the case, we do respect the consumer’s right to offer an opinion. In this instance the client stated that our level of communication was too sparse and, although we met in person, spoke via telephone, and had extensive email exchanges, the customer decided to cancel. Per the contract “Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation YBE retains the non-refundable deposit.” We only book one event per day so once a date is reserved all other requests for this date are declined. The non-refundable deposit protects us from complete loss in cases of cancellation. We are sorry the consumer was displeased, particularly as we never got an opportunity to provide service prior to cancellation. We would still like to wish him all the very best and hope he has a wonderful event.

    Jen was very easy to work with. She sent us vows to look over and made small changes to make our ceremony nice. She took care of the filing of the license and we got it back certified soon after from the county clerk. I would recommend Jen for your personal wedding in nice comfortable surroundings.

What types of customers have you worked with?
I do wedding ceremonies, commitment ceremonies, and handfastings. YBE believes that love is for everyone and we are thrilled when commissioned to plan, coordinate, and/or officiate handfastings or alternate ceremonies.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask a lot of questions. Don't be afraid to get all of the information you need to feel comfortable working with an event planner on one of the biggest days of your life. Think about what you want to know ahead of a phone call or meeting and write your questions down. Also, get everything in writing. If a vendor won't put it in writing - run away!
