- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will briefly discuss your case free of charge over the telephone - if I am available. An initial consultation is $100.00. The fee is applied to your case if you retain me. This makes the initial consultation free. . If you do not retain me the fee is applied to paying for my time. I feel that my experience and time is well worth the investment. A person who is serious about resolving their immigration issues will find that they receive better counsel and service from the attorney that knows the value of her time. My fees are most always flat fees with a payment plan. Each case carries its' own set of facts and work that needs to be done. I can not quote a fee until I speak with the person regarding the case. The costs of a case can usually be determined easily. Costs include the fee to the US Government agency you are dealing with, copies and postage. Costs may also be incurred for investigations, depositions and translators or interpretors. All costs can usually be identified and explained at the initial consultation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. Immigration is an area that is constantly changing and requires constant re education or new education.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first exposure to attorneys at work was when I was a teenager. That is when I decided I wanted to be a lawyer. I like being in the courtroom and writing. Immigration fell into place after I spend 6 years working overseas. Finally, I love meeting people from all over the world.
