Introduction: The Jukido Academy is the longest running schools of martial arts in Flagler County and Palm Coast, Florida. It has been providing instruction in authentic martial arts of jujitsu and karate for realistic self-defense (as opposed to martial arts as a competitive sport or "daycare" karate schools).
Our school is the most well-attended Jukido Jujitsu schools in the world. As opposed to the more cookie-cutter approaches of many studios, whether teaching children, teenagers or adults, the focus is always on applying the techniques for practical self-defense situations, such as bullying, assault, rape situations, and defensive tactics for police officers, while approaching the art in a traditional Japanese format that demonstrates the respect and decorum that are hallmarks of real martial arts.
In addition to being the longest running and most trusted schools of self-defense, the Jukido Academy dojo has been voted many times over as the "Best Around" for martial arts instruction by local publications. All instructors at the Jukido Academy are internationally certified instructors by the International Kokondo Association (IKA), the worldwide governing body for the martial arts of Jukido Jujitsu and Kokondo karate.

Sensei Rego is not only my teacher, he is also a personal friend to me and my family. Sensei Rego has an amazing dedication to teach, guide, and advise every single one of his students no matter what. In the five and a half years that I have known him he has never turned me away even one once, no matter the problem, personal or otherwise.
Recently I have had a few unfortunate events in which I was held up at gunpoint. And thanks to Sensei Rego's teachings I was able to come out of both situations alive and relatively unscathed.
I thank Sensei for everything that he has done for my family and everything he continues to do. He is truly an amazing man and passes on his incredible values that he learned from his teacher.
I would never give up our relationship and time for anything! He and all of the Jukido Academy are family and always will be.

I have been a student of Sensei Regos for almost a year now. When I started at Jukido Academy I was looking for a new hobby and fun fitness, but I became a part of something very special; I became a part of the Jukido Academy family. Jukido Jujitsu and Kokondo Karate has changed my life forever, I am more confident and strong than I have ever been. Sensei Rego has been a positive mentor in my life and is an extraordinary instructor. I definitely recommend this true self-defense training to every one of all ages.

I am proud to call myself a student at the Jukido Academy. Not only do you learn self defense techniques that can benefit you in the real world, you learn self discipline, respect, loyalty, and many other principles that can benefit you throughout life. The Jukido Academy is also a great way to stay fit and meet new friends. Anyone looking to stay fit, meet new people, learn self discipline, and just have a good time should give it a try.

I am an active member of the Jukido Jujitsu academy and I love it! since I am young, I have acquired a great deal of self confidence and self discipline! I have learned so much and I believe that attending has really made an impact on my life! I would definitely recommend this to anyone, children and adults!
