At age 30 I decided that my bachelor pad of a house needed an overhaul inside and out - badly... Ms. Brannigan had the vision and ability to throughly explain my options and how best to stretch my budget. In fact she was able to make the budget I had ($25,000) go much farther than I had ever imagined! She coordinated everything and was on site to make sure everything was done correctly and completely. Even when I said I could do part of the remodel on my own she had a back up plan in case I bit off more than I could chew, I turned out to be very happy that she had that backup plan for me :) Her personal touches to the interior of my house went above and beyond what I could have ever hoped for. My house turned out so well that my neighbors thought I was either moving or getting married. Nothing that crazy happened but a year later my girlfriend has moved in and we couldn't be happier. Obviously I would recommend Megan to family and friends - do yourself a favor and save yourself a lot of STRESS and TIME and let Megan handle it for you.

We hired Megan last year to decorate our home in Dunedin. When she came over with tons of swatches and paint colors, we thought we may have bitten off a little more than we could chew. Luckily, she made the entire experience painless and actually taught us a bunch of things along the way. She asked about our likes and dislikes, we gave her a budget, and she incorporated our answers into our home perfectly. We couldn't be happier and would recommend her to anyone that's looking for a fantastic looking space. Thanks Megan!!! Missy and Tim

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always wanted to be in the design field, from as long as I can remember I was always rearranging my room and begging my parents to let me paint my walls different colors. Over the years I have worked many avenues in Fashion, Event Planning and Interior Design and always come back to Interior Design so I decided that this must be what I really want to do because I keep coming back to it!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire a designer that you feel you have a connection with and you feel like they "get you". You want to know that person is going to give you what you are looking for, and not make you feel that everything you said went in one ear and out the other and you are going to be wasting your money and not like the end result.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

It's quite a bit harder than people think, there are a lot of moving parts that have to come together just right for everything to get finished on time and on budget.... it is very much a balancing act.
