We were staying in Panama City Beach while working in the area on a 3 week assignment to study the nesting habits of sea turtles. My team stayed at Sandpiper. We were very pleased with the service we received from their staff, as well with having something to do at the hotel (like the tiki bar). Another team working on a similar project stayed down the beach somewhere else. They were disappointed with their condo because there was nothing to do there when work was finished. They found themselves always meeting up with us at the tiki bar at Sandpiper. It was nice having the heated pools and tiki bar to make our 3 weeks more enjoyable in Panama City, even though we were there to work. If our work brings us back to Panama City, we will definitely choose the Sandpiper again (some of us are even thinking about bringing our families back for a vacation.

If you're looking for a FUN beach vacation experience, with LOTS of things to do to keep young kids & teenagers entertained all day (without having to leave the hotel) - we've got you covered. If you are comparing other hotels, be sure to check exactly what you get included with your stay... Is there entertainment? All year round? For all ages? If so, is the place large enough that can you also 'get away from it all' if you want to?
