I’ve had lessons with Douglas for several weeks now, and he lives up to the name “Tutor with the best.” I hired him to prepare me for the praxis core math exams, and he has done wonderfully in helping me prepare.

I had always wanted to take voice lessons but due to the expense, it was something I had never pursued. It was only when I was cast in a community theatre musical production for a character outside of my vocal range that I decided to pursue the opportunity. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to study with Joe. He is very passionate about his craft. He is knowledgeable and efficient. His method of teaching is extremely comprehensive and with each lesson, I learned more and more. Over the course of our few weeks together, I expanded my vocal range and gained the confidence I needed to perform perfectly. My voice was noticeably stronger- not only to me, but to my family and my musical theater peers. He worked hard to accommodate my schedule and never hesitated to put in additional time. Recently, I was cast as a lead in another community theatre musical production. While my voice is pretty, I am confident that my ability to secure this role was because I had spent time working with Joe. I will continue to work with him throughout my community theatre endeavors and would recommend him to anyone seeking to improve their vocal range and/or skills. He truly is a wonderful teacher and this review does not do him justice.

Taking voice lessons as an advanced student. Sing classical. Instructor is outstanding. Diana Keading is very knowledgable about vocal technique. She gains quick insight into one's vocal needs. She is creative in finding ways to help students who are struggling with one vocal issue or another. She is nurturing & very supportive. Diana has an impressive history as a professional soloist. I'm pleased to say that I have made faster progress with my singing than I ever thought I would have. I highly recommend Diana Keating as a voice teacher for all ages!!! I feel lucky I found her!!!

Meg is perfect for our needs. At first glance, she is professional which earns your trust in her ability, while also just warn enough to earn my child's trust and consistent at moving lessons forward. Take another moment to reflect and she really is also providing guidance to willing parents. I could already pinpoint my own shortcomings in teaching my child; where I explain everything, she streamlines necessary information into palatable experiences for the child. She does a great job at observing the child and how they learn as an individual as well. She has the right amount of intuition and skill. The lessons she has and will continue to provide our child include various methods of reading, writing, using self motivated rewards, and even sensory experience through teaching our child how to feel the sounds she was making when sounding letters. Meg has fantastic patience and recommends a lesson length that has so far kept our child at attention. Because our child has improved so quickly, I can't recommend Meg enough. She is flexible with times, mode of communication, and she even puts up with my status update texts (I can't help but share my surprise and joy at our child's improvement!). Our child now asks each morning if it's Meg time :) Thank you Meg! We look forward to more time with you!

She is a great teacher. She always manages to find the easiest and most fun way to share her vast knowledge with her students. I was impressed at how she made every topic discussed during the lesson seem so interesting.

Chrisjean is absolutely amazing! Taking French lessons from her are not only fun, but also very productive. I previously tried the very expensive programs you can buy and just wasted my money. Then after only a few months of lessons with Chrisjean, I can actually write, read and speak French. Not only am I getting ready for a trip to France, but I have been able to use my newly learned language at work. If you really want to learn a language, hire Chrisjean. I've already decided, I'm not stopping with one language, and Chrisjean will be my tutor for the next one too.

Gail Norris taught my two boys piano when they were in first grade. She did an excellent job; she was encouraging and patient with them as they were so young. They took lessons until they were in sixth or seventh grade. My eldest boy, who is now 22, still enjoys playing it relaxes him. My youngest boy, who is 20, will sit at the piano occasionally; reading music and sitting still were never really his forte. Still Mrs. Norris was patient with him and his abilities grew. Once in elementary school he played in front of the whole school and it gave him such joy! If you are considering piano lessons for your child I whole-heartedly recommend Mrs. Norris, so happy to have found her and to have had her in my children’s lives, it helped shape them as they are today and I think it helped them in school too! Working with Gayle has been a wonderful experience. I came to her for voice lessons, but overtime I realized that I am gaining so much more. She is highly skilled and makes me feel so comfortable. Gayle has not only helped me with the technical aspect of singing, but she understands that singing is more of an emotional experience. She has helped me break through a lot of self limitations, free of judgement. I value our lessons and look forward to them each week. Thank you Gayle for helping me tap into a part of myself that I've dreamed of for so long.

About

I provide personal teaching lessons at client's home. I am highly experienced in Spanish. I am perfectly bilingual. I have flexible hours.

About

Hard question to answer. As far as I'm aware, I only consider the comfortability of the student at hand. Based on how they react, if they've had previous lessons, I can assess the situation, repair and move on to better things: playing the guitar/instrument.

About

I have learned how to gain results as quickly as possible. You still have to put in the time; now, my specialty is in helping you get as much out of that time as possible. In the more than forty-five years since I taught my first lesson, I have learned much about how people of all ages learn music (and I'm still learning myself). That's the difference between someone with forty-five years experience as opposed to one year of experience forty-five times.

About

I can speak and write Spanish just right. I can translate a lot of English stuff to Spanish or from Spanish to English.

About

I am a high schooler with good grades, proficient, and very able to tutor grades K-6 in most courses. I also am a musician with over ten years of experience and am able to teach music at a very reasonable price.
