- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The initial consultation in person or by phone is FREE. My price chart provided offers options of varied number of class hours with discounted Test Prep Courses for a preferred one-on-one, joint ( 2 students) and group classes. ( 3 ) The class fees offer an affordable $60/hour budget price to estimate the work and time required for each student, also to determine exists the all essential 'good fit' rapport.and for the learner and parent/guardian has an opportunity to experience the quality and delivery of my professional service. Clients always receive a signed receipt for payment by cash, check. My business Policy for the Test Prep courses include a FREE consultation, optional tuition materials and resources cost. This includes a folder with a weekly student planner, ACT/SAT test prep guides, progress reports, vocabulary sheets, speed reading handouts, writing guide printouts and weekly session additions of every paper practice test paper with corresponding answer key sheet with explanations for home study and revision. The prepaid ACT/SAT test prep programs are reserved and scheduled tutorial days and times set aside and guaranteed for the student. Payment: check/cash.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am always present to work closely with new clients. All potential clients are invited to review my customer reviews (50+) bio/profile, read my Q/A responses (hit the read more link) and scroll down to check our professional testimonials, parent references, students star ratings and reviews, in order to make an informed decision to hire the very best tutor. I always recommend the customer read the references and reviews to hire and retain any professional. The process to start provides my academic credentials, my business card and make an initial appraisal of the student. This involves an observation of their attitude to learning, their level of commitment and the extent of their positive behavior. The student's conduct is important in creating the correct test prep or study environment, so corrective measures may be required (with the parent's consent) On completion of the initial assessment session, test practice scores are obtained, I make a decision whether to accept the student. I provide the parent/guardian with my honest evaluation and suggest options available in best interests of their student. I always ask if the student is satisfied and I always encourage the client to ask questions.
