FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is not difficult. We sit down with the client determine their needs, wants and desires. With that information we generate a proposal. Once the client has the proposal, we will sit with them again and make any adjustments necessary to do our best to be within their budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do not do any formal form of continuing education. I do read the trade magazines and I go out to dinner to the trendy restaurants in order to try and keep up with the changes in my field. I also attend trade shows in order to be aware of new products, techniques and tools that could make any event more successful and enjoyable for all the guests and the client.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into this line of work because of a friend of mine back in third grade. He moved here from Korea and his mother open a Korean restaurant and it was the first place I ever worked. I started out as a dishwasher and learned to do prep work and to cook. Catering gave me the opportunity to work more closely with the the client and use my creativity to fill all of their desires and needs
