Introduction: As a producer, I do the following: - Oversee and maintain the budget, staff and scheduling in the production of films - Assist screenwriters and directors in developing ideas for films, selecting locations and cast - Aid in finding financing for a film's production and ensure that the production costs stay within the budget As a script supervisor, I do the following: - Responsible for maintaining the motion picture's internal continuity and for recording the production unit's daily progress in shooting the film's screenplay - Work side by side with director and DP to make sure that at the end of the day, the film can be cut together by backing up every department, monitor the script during shooting and make sure that errors in continuity do not occur that would prevent the film from being able to be compiled in the editing room
