I had chosen Nick for a tree removal and stump grinding project at my home as he gave me a great quote, was very responsive, professional and seemed like a great all round guy. After all the details of the job were finalized I had all the utility lines tracked and marked in my yard as Nick requested it to be done before he could start the project. We agreed that once they were all tracked we'd lock in a date to start the project.
After tracking was complete, Nick began slacking on returning messages and calls and when he would respond I was not once given a specific date or time he'd start, I was always told "at the end of the week" or "in the next couple of days".
I completely understand that things come up unexpectedly and weather plays a huge role in outside jobs like this, BUT, I don't understand how someone running a business can leave their customers in the dark with details as important as a date and time to do the project and not return calls or messages OR do it promptly.
The last time I spoke with Nick was 6 days ago and I was told it would be done Thursday or Friday....it is now the next Monday and I still haven't heard a word from Nick.
Very poor customer service and communication. I expected more from Nick and his company especially after the great reviews he has and the running around to have utility lines tracked for him. Poor effort.
