Ivonne is truly an amazing trainer. I usually need a little push to feel motivated to work out which is what I got during my training sessions and I am thankful for that. I feel much stronger and better since I started my training. She maintains a good balance between encouragement to push harder and understanding ones needs and capabilities. Suzanne helped me recuperate from an injury when doctors and physical therapists could not. I own my mobility and fitness to her expertise, support, and inspiration. The gym is the best I've ever been to. The yoga class I take there has taught me more about the postures than any other yoga class I've attended since I started 17 years ago. Tina is an awesome trainer. We hit it off from the very first day. She keeps the workouts challenging but lighthearted and fun. Because she has such a great variety of experience the workouts are never the same. Yoga, pilates, HIT, strength training and spin are just some of what she dishes out weekly. Not to mention she comes up with some pretty killer ab moves. (a tight core is a good core) I definitely never get bored! No matter how painful it gets she always keeps me coming back for more! Maureen continues to inspire me every day that I practice - she taught me how important it is to really believe that one day it would happen, and gave me the tenacity to show up on my mat every day. Now that I am trying to get back into my Ashtanga practice, in a different city and state, I am imagining myself back under Maureen's care, and always ask myself if I can push further or if I am getting in my own way, or if I am perfect right there in that moment. In addition to the standard yoga practice suited and built to cater the needs of each individual student I also incorporate different pranayama or breathing techniques that can be used on and off the mat. These techniques range from body warmers that build up heat and energy in the body to increase the heart-beat ( a sort of yogic cardio routine) to relaxing breaths that calm the mind and release tension. These can be used on a daily basis outside of the class. I also incorporate meditation techniques that the student can practice outside of the class if itâs something they are interested in pursuing.

We bring movement through warm-up as needed for each body type. Asanas are chosen to accommodate the individual's needs. In a group setting, we use variations and modifications. Every practice ends in final resting pose. This final pose gives the body and brain time for assimilation of the practice (meditation). You will decrease stress hormones and increase feel-good chemicals in the brain that will bring ease to the body. It seems the benefits of a yoga practice are endless.
