Ahhh I love Vickys workouts! Shes always prepared and really knows how make you strong and gain endurance without pushing beyond your limits! Lost 20lbs in a couple months by doing The Burg workouts only 3-4 days a week and (mostly) cutting out dairy. Classes are filled with people putting in real work and its impossible to feel unmotivated while youre there. Her prices are extremely affordable and worth every penny. Personal training with Vicky is also a great way to keep up with making sure youre progressing. Her personal training sessions are only $35/hr. Im pretty sure thats probably one of the lowest prices in st pete and you get to workout in a private gym! What can i say? I love The Burg :) looking forward to them getting spin classes also 🙊
I have known Bethany professionally for going on 10 years and have always been in awe of her knowledge and dedication to all things involving health and fitness. After writing my own workout programs and dietary plans since college, I found myself at a stagnation point and turned to Ms. Reul for some one-on-one consultation. After a quick assessment of my physical situation, it took her no time to pinpoint exactly what I needed to implement, both nutritionally and activity-wise, to reach my specific goal (I was training for a very 'physical' role in a feature film). With the personal fitness industry so saturated with people and their 'claims', it's nice to know there's a Bethany Reul out there that provides an honest, no-nonsense service for those of us who are serious about our fitness goals.
Ive been working with John Bruno for several months. I started with mixed martial arts training and became quite impressed with his MMA skills, his fitness knowledge and his patience to work with me - I know Im not the easiest person to educate, especially those times when I dont quickly catch on to exactly what I need to do. Because I liked his expertise with the MMA, I also started working with Bruno for strength and conditioning. I like that he can explain which muscle groups Im working, as well as explaining which groups that can be injured if the exercise is not performed properly. Bruno will correct my form so Im not in a position to injure myself. Hes also identified equipment that could be potentially harmful. I can see hes quite dedicated and passionate in what he does and I trust that he will train me safely while pushing me to my full potential for me to reach my fitness goals.
I connected with Leslie through this website, and words can hardly express how grateful I am to have met and hired her. Leslie is everything I was looking for in a personal trainer, and so much more. She has a vast working knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology. Her ability to individualize your program, and keep you completely safe while also thoroughly challenging you, is simply unparalleled. I would not hesitate to recommend her to practically anyone, whether 20 or 90, athlete and gym rat or completely new to exercise, dealing with an illness or injury or in top shape. Leslie excels in her effort and ability to appraise her clients individual and evolving needs. When it comes to physical training, she knows what I need before I do. Not only that, but Ive found the same sometimes holds true on a mental and emotional level as well; in the short time Ive been working with her, Ive gained more useful insight than perhaps Ive ever gotten from any therapist or teacher. Ive quickly come to consider Leslie a friend and mentor on top of being an invaluable trainer. Truly an ace personal trainer and a gem of a person.
I train with Jeff in Saint Petersburg while I was in Florida working. The session was initially 1hr 2-3x per week. He was punctual, have a game plan, and very encouraging in helping me move on to the next level. Training was so fun that the time seems to fly by so fast. I leave training every evening feeling like I have accomplished something. When I tried to slack off he would find ways to get me to do the same thing in a different way. I was recovering from Thyroid surgery and having muscle cramps due to the medication I was taking, he encouraged me to drink more water, do more stretching when I was not training with him and that did really help. Training sessions was fun and invigorating! Surprising to me since I do not like arrange exercise, but every time we met I was ready to get going. His attitude was so encouraging as he talk to me in between sets so that we did not lapse into period of boring silence. I am hard to please, so when I said he is great, believe me. You will be a satisfied customer. Highly recommended! I am now back in New York, that is why I am still not in training.
I’m disappointed. Disappointed that Heather left New Zealand to head back to the US and I lost my awesome PT! Heather is amazing and I can’t recommend her enough. I met her when she was working in New Zealand and I was lucky enough that I got a coupe of months training with her. I’m not a natural in terms of pushing myself to exercise, and the whole concept of working out is a bit daunting to me. However, Heather quickly pushed that daunting feeling away and made me feel totally at ease, and within one session she made me want to come back for more. She is a such genuine person with a kind heart, and will put any person at ease regardless of their situation. You can see that her work as a PT is so much more than just earning money - she really cares and wants to make a difference. Heather has a knack of knowing how an individual needs to work, whether hard core or a softer approach - I’ve seen both styles with her and I feel I sat in the middle - she pushed me in a way that suited me, working me hard and making me hungry for it, without me resenting it. I can highly recommend Heather as a Personal Trainer, she's the best!

When I came to Thumbtack seeking a new bootcamp trainer for our group I didn't set my expectations too high. And sure enough, Ave more than exceeded any expectation I could have set. She's an awesome trainer and really knows her craft. She's wicked on-time and very inspiring and motivational. I couldn't have found a better trainer who's not afraid to tell it like it is and give us the workout we need for the best results. I would highly recommend her for any personal training needs.

Ive worked with several trainers the past ten years, but Shane is the only one that got me where I wanted to be physically and also mentally. He helped me improve my nutrition and eating habits (think clean) and rebuild muscles that were just about gone due to several years of total inactivity. The weight came off and I felt better than I had in years! My endurance has really improved and now Ive incorporated kickbox ing and other activities into my workouts, but I continue to train with Shane because I know that when it comes to weight training .well, I just dont manage that important aspect of training as well on my own as when I work out with him! He knows my form, limits and strengths and trains me with efficiency so that with every rep I move closer to my goals plus hes a lot of fun!
I found Archie-Lee very professional and made the training very enjoyable, although it was a tough work out. He was extremely positive and encouraging. He was very informative and is very knowledgeable. Definitely be training with him again.
Nohelia is very knowledgeable about fitness. She was able to identify my weak areas quickly and come up with routines to target those muscles. I have been training with her for a few months and I am extremely happy with my results. I'm leaner and stronger than I've been in a long time. And best of all I find it easy to train with her and look forward to my sessions.

I trained with Michelle for about two years. I found her to be an outstanding trainer with a wholistic approach. In 2014 I decided this was my year to get in shape and stay healthy. In February I met with Stephen, two times a week for the whole month, from there on I was hooked. He is such a pleasure to work with. Its almost like my goals are his goals as well, he encourages me every step of the way and knows exactly what I have in me and knows when to give me that extra push. I work in a emergency setting so my schedule is very crazy and Stephen worked around it with no problem. One of the many things I enjoy about Stephen is he has a plan for the session and you don't stop till its done. He is incredibly informative and you can tell he enjoys to teach you about fitness and how you can reach your goal, not only while your working with him, but when your at home too! I do a lot of things on my own at home now thanks to Stephen's wonderful teaching and guidance, but I still meet with him once or twice a month to check my progress( I always like another opinion of my progress from someone other than me) and I always learn some new things. When I met with Stephen my goals were to firm up, loose some weight and strengthen a shoulder of mine, from a old injury so I could go back to pulling my Bow back. Stephen said they were all reachable goals that would take time and dedication! Here I am four months later,firmer, lighter and back to being able to pull my bow back with my "bad" shoulder! I highly recommend Stephen to everyone!
