Having Nicholas as the Officiant at my daughter and Son-n-law's wedding was entertaining and nontraditional, as this is what they preferred. He was punctual, professional, and just a wonderful person. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is getting married. - Ryn Governale

We needed to purchase a family property through a living trust. Elizabeth was always available for questions, informed us thoroughly on how to proceed with this sale. It was completed in a short time and she was always helpful, friendly and professional. We recommend Elizabeth for your law needs. Colleen and Frank G.

I cannot say enough about my positive experience with Kevin. This was my first time using thumbtack and naturally I had some reservations. Reading his prior reviews lead me to give him a try and I'm so glad I did. I am now another satisfied client and will be using him for any legal matters I need in the future. The most amazing part is that we never met face to face. We did everything via phone and email. That took a lot of trust and he earned it. What i like the most is that whenever you reach out he responds the same day. You are never left to feel like once he has gotten your money you are dismissed. Plus his rate was very reasonable. I saved almost $1000 dollars going with him as opposed to a local law firm that was referred to me by a family member. Kevin is the best! A consummate professional and knows his stuff! If you hire him you won't be sorry!

I only have great things to say about both Shannon (the attorney) and Sherrie (the paralegal). Both are amazing at their work and very professional, while at the same time being friendly and easy to work with. I hired the kimball firm to take care of my divorce case. It's not finalized yet, but I can say I am very happy I hired them. Another very good thing is that Shannon's fees are quite reasonable compared to the outrageous sums other attorneys charge. As my divorce case progresses, I will update this review to give you a complete picture of working with the kimball law firm.

So far so good. Still in the middle of everything and this website is constantly asking for feedback so now I'm giving what I can. James is a great communicator unlike the other law firm I employed previously. I'm a results guy so time will tell. James has though tried avenues that other firm did not. And most importantly he puts the child first! I respect that he's not only on my side but on my daughters side, even more so than mine a lot!

Josh and his team are a group of prodigious, dedicated and hardworking people. They helped me when I was rear-ended in March of 2018. I reached out to him while I was lost and had no idea what to do as this was the first accident I have been in. When I called I was met with a warm welcome where I informed Josh about the situation and let him know the extent of my concerns, injuries, and damage to my vehicle. He laid out for me, very clearly, exactly how he would approach the case and each step he would take in settling my case. He is a knowledgeable, experienced, successful attorney. More importantly, he is a compassionate, honest human being, which is essential when it feels as though your life is falling apart. I highly recommend him and his firm. My case turned out far better than I had hoped for. They were always in touch, always had all the answers to any questions. This law firm carried me and my family through the most horrible time of my life. They were always there for us day by day. It gave me time to concentrate on healing. A level of trust and caring that I will always be truly grateful. I would highly recommend Josh if you are looking for somebody that not only cares about winning your case but also cares you as his client. -Brett M.

Michael was fantastic from the start. He made time to talk with my husband and I, prior to retaining him, was very responsive to texts and phone calls, and completed our consultation in person. We are very pleased to be working with him, and his firm. We would most definitely recommend him!

I highly recommend working with Brett and Sam!!! I was facing a less than favorable case. I prefer not to get into the details. But I will say that I could have been easily convicted. It was not going in my favor by any stretch of the law. After working with Brett Metcalf and his partner Sam Harden....they were able to get my case dismissed. I am more than happy with the outcome as I was facing a charge that I did not want to have to explain for the rest of my working career. Brett and Sam both were very patient with me and kept my mind at ease throughout the process of many sleepless nights thinking about this case. I am so happy that this is all over with and I would highly recommend working with them if you are facing any kind of prosecution. Before hiring them I spoke to several other attorneys who were not as confident or reassuring of my case outcome. I would just like to say thank you for being patient with me and working with me throughout the process! I hope for my sake I never need to hire you again...but if I ever need another attorney you will be first on my list!

I would recommend Amber anytime. She was prompt with responding to me. Her consultations was very thorough and she was not looking at the clock. I was discouraged about attorneys after an encounter with another attorney which was 15 minutes late for our 30 minute appointment and yet rushed me 7 minutes into our consultation. Thanks Amber for changing my perspective about attorneys and for helping me.

I have used the Nightingale Law Firm for 2 cases as well as 1 case for my mother and have had nothing but the best experience with them. My first case and my mothers case were transferred to the Nightingale Law Firm from one of the larger billboard advertising law firms in the Clearwater area. They treated our cases as if they really could careless about us or even our case. They were very unorganized, kept requesting the same documents over and over....once I switched to Nightingale I only had to provide the information once and everything was taken care of after that. They are also very good at negotiating with the doctor's offices and insurance company to lower the amount of money you have to pay back for medical services rendered!! In my opinion this is one of the best Personal Injury law firms in the area who actually cares about you and the outcome of your case. They try to get as much money in your pocket as possible.

What does an immigration attorney do?

Immigration lawyers help their clients through all phases of the immigration process. Experts on immigration law, they are legally qualified to represent U.S. citizens, permanent residents or undocumented immigrants. Immigration lawyers also provide assistance to visitors here on student, work or travel visas, and can represent clients who may have an expired visa or who have overstayed their visa.

You can hire an immigration lawyer to assist you with petitioning for renewing a permanent resident or green card, navigating the naturalization process, submitting an employee-based petition for a work visa, filing a petition for a family member, or representing you or a loved one who is facing detention or deportation, as well as replacing, extending or changing a current visa, green card or work permit. When researching immigration lawyers, it is very important to verify their qualifications and find a reputable attorney. Read reviews and verify that the immigration lawyer is licensed by your state before paying any fees.

How do you find a good real estate lawyer?

If buying or selling property feels overwhelming and the thought of finding a good real estate lawyer seems daunting, you’re in luck. There are some simple steps to follow for finding a trustworthy, affordable real estate lawyer to help with your property and legal needs.

  • Determine what kind of real estate lawyer you need. Many states require a real estate attorney to handle sale closing documents. For more complex matters such as a real estate deal gone awry or foreclosure, you’ll want to find an attorney who has successfully handled cases like yours.
  • Look for online reviews of real estate lawyers in your area. Verify that they have proven experience closing or winning cases like yours and that they are in good standing with the state bar association.
  • Choose two or three lawyers to interview. Many offer a free consultation to learn about your case and provide information about rates. For standard real estate closing services, in-depth interviewing might not be necessary.
  • Ask about their rates and whether they charge by the hour or provide services for a flat fee. Ask whether a retainer is required, and what the total bill should be for a case like yours.
  • Ask for a write-up of the services that will be covered by the projected costs.
  • Make sure you like the real estate agent and they treat you with respect. Confirm whether they or another person will be working on your case and make sure you’re comfortable with all members of their team.
  • Pay the retainer and hire your lawyer.

What is a personal injury lawyer?

A personal injury lawyer fights on your behalf if you’ve been injured physically, psychologically, economically or in reputation. This injury may be the result of neglect or malicious intent of another person, or it could be at the hands of a business, government or other entity. Personal injury lawyers specialize in tort law, which is the law of civil wrongs like car accidents, company wrongdoing, unlawful imprisonment and more.

To become qualified to be a personal injury lawyer in the United States, a person must earn a bachelor’s degree, followed by a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from a law school. Most states then require the person to pass the bar exam to become licensed to practice law. Unlike many attorneys who require a retainer, personal injury lawyers often work on contingency fees. This means that in lieu of payment upfront, they receive an agreed-upon percentage of the settlement in case of a win.

What does a real estate lawyer do?

A real estate lawyer represents their client’s best interest in all matters related to the sale, purchase and ownership of real estate. They are experts in real estate law. In states that require a real estate lawyer to close home sales, the lawyer must review and finalize all documents before the deal can be legally completed. Real estate lawyers also help clients legally protect their rights when entering, exiting or renegotiating a real estate deal. You can hire a real estate lawyer as an individual or as a business. A real estate lawyer can help with negotiation, addressing mortgage fraud, managing foreclosures and bankruptcy, transfers of titles and deeds, property ownership disputes, zoning issues, creating a co-ownership contract for joint purchase of a property, and much more. Real estate lawyers can also protect you from issues that result when a known problem was not properly disclosed by the previous owner. Overall, real estate lawyers are an added cost when it comes to buying and selling property, but they also ensure your best interests are met, and that you and the people you are doing business with comply with the law.

What should you look for in a personal injury lawyer?

A personal injury lawyer will advocate for your legal rights if you’ve been hurt in an accident at work or in daily life, have suffered from medical malpractice, or are struggling to have your insurance carrier cover your needs. It may be helpful to talk with two or three lawyers before selecting one. When looking for a personal injury lawyer, research their reviews and make sure former clients have had good experiences with them. Next, make sure the personal injury lawyer has experience and proven success winning cases similar to yours. Confirm that the lawyer is licensed to provide services in your state. When you find a qualified personal injury lawyer with whom you want to work, freely discuss payment and fees before any work begins. Most lawyers offer a free consultation to learn what your case is about and explain their rates. Personal injury attorneys typically receive a percentage of your settlement (called a contingency fee), so they are paid after the trial or case is complete. Keep in mind that some attorneys have fees that you must pay even if you don’t win your trial. It’s important to understand these details before work begins so you don’t have any unhappy surprises later. Lastly, it’s wise to choose a personal injury lawyer that you have confidence in and with whom you can communicate openly and honestly.
