My 11 year old daughter has been taking Spanish lessons from Alicia for over a year now. Alicia is an excellent teacher who is very good at teaching kids. She has a lot of experience teaching all ages of kids from elementary to college level. My daughter thoroughly enjoys her Spanish lessons with Alicia. Before Alicia, my daughter was able to write Spanish but wasn't very fluent in conversing in Spanish. After a year of lessons with Alicia, she is able to converse in Spanish very well. Her lessons are fun and very interactive. Alicia is also a very talented artist and my daughter enjoys the occasional art lessons she has with her. I would highly recommend Alicia to anyone was is looking for a Spanish teacher.

I highly recommend Alicia Campos' art classes. My six year old girl/boy twins take a painting class with Miss Alicia once a week and it has been such a wonderful experience for them. They look forward to "art day" every week. A gifted artist herself, Alicia is an exceptional teacher; she encourages the children's' creativity and a love for the arts as she instructs them in painting. Highly recommend! It is such a joy to see the happiness in the kids' faces as they bring home their masterpieces. Miss Alicia is such a blessing in our lives.

Karalee of Graphical Reflections was awesome!! I would definitely recommend her for any art work. She is professional, prompt, and personal. We so enjoyed working with her. She painted a mural on our exterior chimney. We received numerous positive comments on the mural from family, friends, neighbors and people just walking by. Thank you Karalee.

I am a certified art teacher with an M.Ed. I teach art lessons for: * Drawing * Painting * Pastels BIO Linda Hubbard Slicer is a local Florida Artist who was born in New Hampshire and grew in Western Massachusetts. She took art at University of Massachusetts and the Westfield State College. By 1994, she and her family resettled to the Tampa Bay Area, where she still lives. She works in several mediums including: acrylic, oil, pen and ink, calligraphy, watercolor, and pastel painting (a combination of watercolor and oil pastels or pastels). She also makes prints from woodcuts and linocuts. Linda enjoys the vivacious colors of Florida including scenes and subjects that bring out the most impressive palettes. ARTIST'S STATEMENT I paint because it gives me freedom to express myself. I view the world as unique. The commencing of my visual interpretation changes with each artwork. It's what spurs me onto the next canvas. There are no errors in art. What occurs on a canvas or page evolves from my mind and hand. Some compositions and designs arise from the curve of a line or the way water falls. Strange use of color creates a statement. Watercolor paper can be painted on, but also used with melded media such as oil pastels, pastels, ink, even green gold leaf and acrylic paint. Green is one of my preferred colors because it is vibrant, versatile, and transparent lending itself to the expression of light and life. The use of light is necessity to art. The presence of light elucidates a painting, producing a transparency. Depicting light manifests the goal of artists all around history, specially the Impressionists. It's my goal to attain creating light in my work and to learn the effect colors have on light and how certain colors allows light to shine through my painting.

Learn to draw and paint flowers. Olivia Marie Braida (pen name O.M. Braida) is an award-winning, certified botanical artist, whose precise botanicals, the New York Times praised as "realism amplified", and whose work, Suzanne White, curator of the South Florida Museum, declares as “classical design immersed in shadows and light, compositions of the highest professional level, pay homage to the great masters.” As founder and principal instructor of the Academy of Botanical Art, Ms. Braida has developed a network of certified academy instructors who carry on the tradition of her teachings based on the instructional book series on botanical art she authored. Her book series entitled “Ten Steps, A Course in Botanical Art & Illustration”, and her series of "Academy Course Paks” are available to both the beginner and the advanced student, to the dabbler, or one who seeks to fully develop their skills in this genre. They can be purchased at the academy marketplace. If you have questions, feel free to contact the academy, or visit their websites for more information. Here's what students have to say about Ms. Braida: “Olivia Braida is unique! A true renaissance woman – her art, intellect, enthusiasm, dedication and perseverance are unmatchable. She is not only a gifted artist, but also an author, philosopher and educator nonpareil. All that having been said, Olivia is also warm and compassionate, and a lover of all that’s good in life. I feel truly blessed to have gotten to know her and be a small part of her world." - A. Massimi, President of the Brooklyn Watercolor Society, April 4, 2011. “I have studied with Olivia for several years now and find her to be an excellent teacher with the rare skill of imparting useful, constructive criticism without assailing one’s ego or compromising her high standards. Students of all levels will appreciate her organized and careful communication of material, and her genuine concern for her students and their individual goals.” - Cynthia Rice, Academy of Botanical Art student, June 26, 2011

I focus on putting a lot creative, intriguing and unique effort into my design and create original art from the heart. I have been called an exceptional designer and am great with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign; also Freehand or Quark XPress. I can do almost anything as a professional artist: oil or acrylic painting, graphite, charcoal, pen & ink, pastel drawing, sculpture or photography. I'm inspired by life and what it brings me. Some things sweet, some things natural, some things vulgar, some things a little rock n' roll.
