Training with Jarvis is an overall awesome time. He continuously helps me stick to my goals as well as helps me learn how to properly perform different exercises. Jarvis creates a fun atmosphere to train, which definitely helps me as well! I highly recommend using his services for all your training needs/wants!
Ahhh I love Vickys workouts! Shes always prepared and really knows how make you strong and gain endurance without pushing beyond your limits! Lost 20lbs in a couple months by doing The Burg workouts only 3-4 days a week and (mostly) cutting out dairy. Classes are filled with people putting in real work and its impossible to feel unmotivated while youre there. Her prices are extremely affordable and worth every penny. Personal training with Vicky is also a great way to keep up with making sure youre progressing. Her personal training sessions are only $35/hr. Im pretty sure thats probably one of the lowest prices in st pete and you get to workout in a private gym! What can i say? I love The Burg :) looking forward to them getting spin classes also 🙊
1. What fitness goals did you want to accomplish when you hired a trainer? I was interested in healthy meal plans and wanted lose weight and tone up. And, I was thinking of running the KDF mini-marathon again, but needed some motivation and I knew if I lost some weight and started eating better that I’d get the energy and be more motivated. 2. What goals have been accomplished so far? How? I’ve lost weight and am eating better. I feel more energized and am happy to be running again! I’ve also noticed some toning & love that my clothes are getting loose! :) 3. How many pounds and/or inches have you lost since training with Bethany? So far I’ve lost 20 lbs. (159.6 lbs. on Nov. 16, 2013 and 139.6 lbs. Jan. 13, 2014) Inches lost: ? 4. Does Bethany make the workouts fun? Yes she does! She finds ways to not make the workouts boring - they are challenging, but change often and keep me going. For example with cardio - there’s some interval training so it’s not doing the same pace for the full workout. She mixes things up and it really helps keep the motivation going. 5. Do you feel when training with Bethany, you feel challenged? Definitely! I haven’t had one workout that wasn’t challenging. I’m a competitive person so when a workout is given to me, I’m determined to complete it. I trust Bethany to give me a workout she knows I can do and I do my best to get it done. I always feel good afterward and am ready for the next challenge. 6. How Bethany kept you motivated to stick with the program you and she designed together on day 1? She’s always changing it up and keeping it interesting. It’s not the same workout every week and it really helps with motivation. The meal plans are also very good and change often, plus the recipes are super easy and makes planning less stressful. I LOVE every meal I’ve had so far! 7. After working with Bethany, what have you learned to do better or even about yourself? (i.e. How to eat better, you are stronger than you thought, better educated on strength & endurance training, rehabilitated from an injury, etc.) I’ve learned how to eat better and how what I eat helps my energy level and what the best options for pre and post workout are. I’ve also learned that I can do my strength workouts at home, that I don’t need a lot of equipment to have a good workout. And, with the cardio workouts, Bethany has set up for me, I’ve learned how to build up my endurance. I am so excited to be ahead of the training program for the mini-marathon. I usually start training mid-January but now I’m a month ahead and feel like at this rate I have a chance to beat my time from 2 years ago! 8. Would you recommend Bethany to friends and family? Why? Yes I would and I did (my husband). I have worked out with other trainers, but never found one that does meal planning - which is why I first went to Bethany. I did an internet search and her name came up so I looked around for information about her and found her FaceBook page (B Powerful...). I contacted her and after talking with her about my goals, I knew she was the trainer I was looking for. The workouts (strength & cardio) are challenging but doable and the meal plans are easy to follow and delicious! 9. What did you like most about personal training and working with Bethany? She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, always positive and upbeat. She answers any questions I have and offers alternative options to training or meals. I like how the workouts are never the same each week, and how she got me thinking differently about running on a treadmill with the interval and cardio blast workouts she gives me. I like how she offers so many meal options and that the recipes have few ingredients and are super easy to make. I’ve started to enjoy planning meals each week and look forward to each of my workouts. Bethany is a fantastic trainer & meal planner, I feel that I am much closer to my goals and am reaching them much faster with Bethany’s guidance. 10. What are you long-term goals and how do you plan to achieve them? I hope to continue losing inches & weight and toning up, while getting stronger and building my endurance. I plan to keep up with my training and eating plans, which will hopefully turn into running a PR in April’s mini-marathon race!
John is an absolutely amazing coach and mentor. When I first started training with him I was unsure of the fitness route I wanted to take. He helped me find my passion with Olympic lifts and improve my form and technique! I also trained BJJ and boxing techniques with him and learned so much! I highly recommend him for anyone of any fitness level, from beginners to the more advanced. He's always willing to push you so you reach your full potential!
I am 79 years old and Leslie became my trainer about a year ago. She listened to me and adapted my training to my physical status. When I first came to her I was not walking well but as time went by I became more confident and people at the gym remarked how much better I was walking. I also heard that at first I never smiled and was now smiling. Leslie is very competent and gentle if you need her to be. my name is Nancy Minshew.
I train with Jeff in Saint Petersburg while I was in Florida working. The session was initially 1hr 2-3x per week. He was punctual, have a game plan, and very encouraging in helping me move on to the next level. Training was so fun that the time seems to fly by so fast. I leave training every evening feeling like I have accomplished something. When I tried to slack off he would find ways to get me to do the same thing in a different way. I was recovering from Thyroid surgery and having muscle cramps due to the medication I was taking, he encouraged me to drink more water, do more stretching when I was not training with him and that did really help. Training sessions was fun and invigorating! Surprising to me since I do not like arrange exercise, but every time we met I was ready to get going. His attitude was so encouraging as he talk to me in between sets so that we did not lapse into period of boring silence. I am hard to please, so when I said he is great, believe me. You will be a satisfied customer. Highly recommended! I am now back in New York, that is why I am still not in training.
Heather is an amazing personal trainer! She is so passionate about fitness, health and nutrition. She is so motivating and really helped me push during my training. She's truly a beautiful person and anyone would benefit from training under her. I only wish she was still in my area so I could still train with her!

Janelle has been my personal trainer for five years. When I started training with her she developed an exercise program for me that combined fitness and flexibility exercises. That program and good diet advice helped me lose 66 pounds and become stronger and more energetic. A few years ago I had health issues that required surgery and an extended hospital stay and home recovery time.. As a result I lost a significant amount of muscle. I resumed training with Janelle early in my home recovery. She used a new training program designed to build muscle and regain flexibility while I slowly recovered from surgery. We now train using a rotating series of exercises to maintain and improve my overall fitness. Janelle is very good at what she does. She is committed to helping me maintain good physical health. Ive worked with several trainers the past ten years, but Shane is the only one that got me where I wanted to be physically and also mentally. He helped me improve my nutrition and eating habits (think clean) and rebuild muscles that were just about gone due to several years of total inactivity. The weight came off and I felt better than I had in years! My endurance has really improved and now Ive incorporated kickbox ing and other activities into my workouts, but I continue to train with Shane because I know that when it comes to weight training .well, I just dont manage that important aspect of training as well on my own as when I work out with him! He knows my form, limits and strengths and trains me with efficiency so that with every rep I move closer to my goals plus hes a lot of fun!

Nick Burch is by far the best and most effective trainer I've had in 20 plus years. Since working out with him beginning late last year I've taken off two belt sizes. He's creative with his workouts blending in kickboxing, cardio, and weightlifting. Nick is encouraging and authentic. It’s so much easier working with a trainer who has personally lost weight and hit his goals. Green is the best ! I have never been a gym person and at 73 ,was not exercising much. I am in better shape now than I was 10 yrs ago thanks to Green. I love the classes and actually look forward to going.
In 2014 I decided this was my year to get in shape and stay healthy. In February I met with Stephen, two times a week for the whole month, from there on I was hooked. He is such a pleasure to work with. Its almost like my goals are his goals as well, he encourages me every step of the way and knows exactly what I have in me and knows when to give me that extra push. I work in a emergency setting so my schedule is very crazy and Stephen worked around it with no problem. One of the many things I enjoy about Stephen is he has a plan for the session and you don't stop till its done. He is incredibly informative and you can tell he enjoys to teach you about fitness and how you can reach your goal, not only while your working with him, but when your at home too! I do a lot of things on my own at home now thanks to Stephen's wonderful teaching and guidance, but I still meet with him once or twice a month to check my progress( I always like another opinion of my progress from someone other than me) and I always learn some new things. When I met with Stephen my goals were to firm up, loose some weight and strengthen a shoulder of mine, from a old injury so I could go back to pulling my Bow back. Stephen said they were all reachable goals that would take time and dedication! Here I am four months later,firmer, lighter and back to being able to pull my bow back with my "bad" shoulder! I highly recommend Stephen to everyone!
I’ve been working with Josie for about 7 weeks. I’m on a long journey to get back in shape after having babies and training with her has been amazing. She’s so encouraging and pushes me to challenge myself which is exactly what I needed. Her workouts are tailored to your specific goal, mine is weight loss, so we’ve been doing a mix of HIIT and strength training. I’m fitting into clothes I haven’t been able to in years and it’s the best feeling! I meet with her 4 times a week for one on one sessions and also small group trainings. It’s incredible how much I sweat in the 30-45 minutes I’m with her, she knows just what muscles to target to burn fat fast. She also keeps in touch and checks on you throughout the week via text which I think is nice because you can tell she really cares about her clients. I’m so glad I found Josie, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made for my health!
