- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In the state of Florida, I am required 12 hours per year of continuing education units. I am currently studying neuromuscular therapy and reflexology. In the future I hope to get involved with stretching and myofascial release.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I started my journey I was looking to learn a useful trade that would allow me to work and help at the same time. By the time I was licensed it had blossomed into a passion that I never even knew I had. Now I love what I do and wake up everyday excited to do it!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish people knew the full advantage of regular massage. It doesn't just make you feel good. It has so many benefits. Massage reduces stress, pain and muscle tension. It increases circulation. There are even some studies showing now that massage may assist in helping disorders such as depression, insomnia, and anxiety issues.
