My wedding was amazing and I owe it to my wonderful mother in law Val. She made my small, simple beach wedding special. One thing I can say in particular about Val is she gets the job done. One dire situation that occurred: Three days before my wedding I did not have my wedding dress in which I ordered months in advance. She went in to the boutique on a mission and I walked out with a $2,000 dollar dress (no charge, just alterations). The day itself went off without a hitch. You won't be disappointed with Venues by Valerie!

Valerie planned my girlfriends 40th surprise birthday party and it was perfect! When my girlfriend walked in her first words were "all of these people are here for me?" Valerie made this possible. We had catering, decorations, a DJ, photography, lots of guests, rental of space, and more importantly we had our closet of friends and family. It was the most amazing day for both of us and still today I wish we could do it all over again! Valerie is amazing and anyone would be lucky to have her plan their event; she makes wishes come true😃!

Well, Valerie was an angel. My now wife would wake up in the middle of the night questioning how she would make her special day come together. Racing thoughts about the day would then keep me and her awake. We needed help! My wife then turned to tumbtack and posted what we needed. Many responded yet Valerie had the most competitive rate. Then, the day of our wedding Valerie filled all the gaps we could not ourselves and more! She was the help we needed before, during and after for our wedding day. Valerie was able to lighten the load so that my wife and I could enjoy the experience of our big day.

Mom-to-be Jessica McAleney beamed with joy expressing her heartfelt thanks for all who came to share in her CELEBRATION of preparing for her baby-in-the making Ava Paige. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are based on level of service needed. Services include full event/wedding planning from start to finish, partial and day of coordination. Ala Carte services upon request
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first consultation is free. I base my quote after the initial meeting. Once the contract is signed I start the process of finding all the right vendors, schedule meetings and review contracts. I have a detailed checklist and budget tracker that is shared with my clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified in Wedding and Event Planning through US Career Institute. UW-Milwaukee BS in Healthcare Administration
