No joke, they really are Five star!! Quick response, took great care to make sure that my whole house was covered properly to minimize any popcorn getting onto anything during removal. I chose textured ceilings and they look so good, the guys did a lot of work repairing the cracks and damage underneath the popcorn, they painted and even touched up the edges with my paint. I bought a 3-2 condo 1500 sq ft. Fabian removed the popcorn, applied textured finish, and painted everything: walls, baseboards, doors, etc. He also removed a chandelier and wall mirror for no extra charge. His crew worked long hours to finish the project early. Fabian was helpful and supportive at all stages. The finished job looked great and the clean up extra neat.

Angel with AMD was phenomenal. We hired AMD to remove the popcorn ceiling of our 1400 sf home and then paint it in its entirety.
The painting aspect was an especially challenging job considering there were multiple mid-tone colors to cover throughout, floor to ceiling mirrors to remove, and (unknown/unexpected) thick textured wallpaper behind the mirrors which also required removal. Angel worked with us to time the painting aspect to occur AFTER the new flooring was installed. The work was TOP quality with precision to make sure EVERY level of detail was expertly executed.
In the end, all the ceilings are smooth and polished, all the walls are now ONE color with baseboards refreshed. The electrical fixtures were also replaced with new ones.
The difference? Night and Day! Angel communicated with me at EVERY step of the process to ensure my desires were fully understood, and he also made recommendations based on his years of craft and expertise. I would hire AMD again with my eyes closed!

I shopped around many contractors to remove the popcorn ceiling of my new home. Most of them ranged from 1500 (shady) to a staggering 7500. I was in disbelief that none of the contractors (except Fabian) mentioned to me that I could save significantly by adding knockdown. Based on his honest advice and value I decided to go with him.
I was very happy with the results. Fabian is a legit (has license/full insured.) Be smart, hire a fully insured/licensed professional. Avoid the liability and risk of your contractor not having business insurance if they mess up.

First, Jhon was very competitive in his price, accommodating to my schedule, and far exceeded what I thought the ceiling could be.
I enjoyed working with Jhon and his team. By far exceeded my expectations. I had a house was smoke damaged from years of cigarette smoke. Jhon was able to remove the popcorn ceiling, fix the weak spots in the house, skim coat the ceiling and painted. The house smells new, looks incredible, and I was able to hang ceiling fans.
Jhon was very professional, made certain to remove his waste and clean at the end of each visit. I could not have imagined a better contractor to work with. This is going to be my residence for at least ten years, and Jhon was instrumental in making my house into a home for my family.

I really debated this review because Germain asked us not to write a poor review, however I believe other people should know what they are getting into. I would not recommend for popcorn removal, they may be great at other things. Aside from the shoddy work, Germain and his crew destroyed my house for the course of a couple days. I’ve spent hours mopping and trying to make it livable again. He failed to take the minimal time necessary to cover lights/TVs, etc and just had a general disrespect for my things. Finally on day 3 he was asked to leave the job because it was turning into a nightmare and he refused to respect our concerns.

Fabian and his team are lifesavers! They were hired originally for popcorn removal and painting of an entire townhouse I purchased and have to gut from top to bottom. It turns out Fabian has an entire crew that is able to help me with every aspect of this project - from the complete demolition to cabinetry to flooring to electric to plumbing to actually every aspect necessary for me to move in promptly. His crew gets things done. They communicate. They are on top of things! Fabian is the best I have ever had and I am so fortunate I found him. They are still working in the house, but I expect that they will continue the suburb work they have been doing for the past week throughout completion.

Dennis and his crew is very professional and they work hard and did the job right. In less than a week they finished the popcorn removal in our new home, with 3 bed rooms, kitchen, living room, dining, den and laundry. It’s more than 1500 sq ft and they did it fast and good. We have a smooth finished. What I love about this project is the price as well, it’s very reasonable. Actually if we have knockdown it will be much cheaper but we prefer a smooth finished. I do highly recommend this company, and I will refer them to everyone I know who wants to get the job done.. I didn’t regret hiring them, not in one bit... I ask for a little extras here and there nothing much but they did pretty much whatever I asked. I have to say one of the most important things is that they were very clean and the job which is a nasty job was not messy at all the way they performed. Also any dust or minor mess that was created they cleaned up. I have recommended Them already to other people and I recommend them to you!!!
