- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I value simplicity, and although bundle pricing brings more money for the accounting firms, its not beneficial to the customers. Customers who prefer bundle and prepaid services are accommodate as well. Most of my accounting services are billed at $60 an hour, and bookkeeping $20. Tax services start at $150 per return.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most types of assignments I get hire for is business start up, Quickbooks setup, bookkeeping and accounting services, and annual tax services.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice for hiring an accountant, is to not base your decision solely on experience and fees. You will need to interact with this person on monthly basis, choose someone who you are comfortable with and are able to work with in a long run.
