David Brothers joined the USF College of Public Health in May 2014. Much was accomplished during his yearlong tenure in the college. He wrote numerous stories, several of which were picked up by news outlets. Other significant contributions include editing web content, advertisements, development appeals, and improving the overall writing in the COPH communications office.
Dave was a TREMENDOUS help to me personally. We collaborated on dozens of stories over the past year. More like I found the story idea, then he interviewed subjects and wrote the piece. This allowed me to focus on other demanding aspects of my job and leave writing to the professional.
He is a wonderful storyteller and consummate journalist. I learned a great deal from him over the last 365 days. Although our work collaboration ended, his presence lives on. Not a week passes that someone doesnt comment on one of his well-written stories.

I dealt with David Brothers on a couple of occasions. Two stories about public health. I found him to have good attention to detail with a nice ability to succinctly summarize the material.

David edited a book, middle grade fiction, for me. He He was professional as well as warm and friendly. I had no trouble understanding his suggestions and following them. I would not hesitate to work with him again or recommend him to others.
