CPR and First Aid Training

I am so pleased to offer my recommendation for Matters2TheHeartLLC. I was staying in Holiday FL caring for my 86yo mother for 1 month, after emergency surgery, with my BLS expiring 11/30. I live in Chicago. I was able to schedule my renewal without difficulty, with La-von making scheduling and registering seamless. I was a so stressed attempting to coordinate my mother’s care, her home, my home needing repairs back in Chicago, my childrens’ schedules, my work and union activities, all at the same time. She was professional, knowledgeable, soothing, calming—that I felt very capable to accomplish and attain my BLS CPR renewal. You will be highly satisfied with her work. Thank you again. ❤️👊🏽💪🏽

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our prices are competitive and we do offer group discounts for 3 or more clients. Ask for PayPal invoice with discounted rate if trying to pay on our website BLS $50 - healthcare providers Heart Saver - $70 includes CPR, First Aid and AED ACLS, PALS - $185 new, $160 renewal We do provide group discounts. Classes are held in our Temple Terrace office, however, we will travel off site We do offer light refreshments

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Our typical process is first to see if we can fulfill the need. We do this by having the client clearly define what services they are looking for us to provide. Are they in the health care field or not because we offer BLS for healthcare providers and Heart saver, AED, First Aid training for non health care providers. We then try to determine if there are any deadlines that they have. Once we determine the above, we try our hardest to schedule a date that is convenient to them. Through this process, our clients know what they are getting, build up trust with us and have very defined expectations.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been a critical care nurse for over 7 years. I am also the critical care educator responsible for the education of over 80 ICU nurses and over 50 Transitional care nurses. I actively assist in codes on a weekly basis. In addition, I hold several certifications: MBA., BSN., RN., CCRN-CMC., CNRN., SCRN., PCCN I have also been the owner of a daycare center so I understand the needs of day care providers, foster parents, teachers etc.
