Wedding Dance Lessons
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer a FREE 30 Minute Introductory Lesson to dive into the Ballroom Dance World. We also offer discounts for 5, 10 and 15 Lesson packages. Contact us if you want to know more.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1- Goals: I like to have a conversation with the new student to learn about the student’s dance goals (e.g. competitive, social, wedding dance, a mixture). 2- Assessment: If a new customer has dance experience, I will dance with the student to understand what level of knowledge the student has in each dance. 3- Plan: When I know what the student’s goals are and the student’s level of knowledge, I will then prescribe a plan. This plan will include how many lessons / month the student should take, which dances we should start with, what we will work on and an end goal (either a performance or social event). 4- Feedback: I always seek feedback on the prescribed plan to ensure my new customer feels confident moving forward.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you find a provider, I would do research on him or her to find out their experience in the Dance Industry and their reputation. I would make sure the provider bases his or her services on quality (i.e. technique, body movement, actions, rhythm, timing, etc.) and not quantity (i.e. steps, steps, steps…)
