- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Robert has over 10 years experience in advanced multi-level driving instruction, program development, and management. He has led instructor teams in the management of all aspects of classroom, behind-the-wheel, and private training programs. Trained in stunt driving, rally driving, and tactical driving, Robert is an expert in vehicle dynamics, motion physics, and advanced driving techniques. He is also a certified Peace Officer with experience in high stress/high liability situations, leadership and negotiation. Robert has served as a topic expert for various publications and television programs. He has had the privilege of guest speaking and instructing at local, regional and national conferences; most recently for SADD and MADD. Robert has trained/worked with Porsche, Bobby Ore Motorsports, Team O'Neil Rally School, Xtreme: The Supercar Experience, and the Bozeman Police Department. He holds numerous vehicle operations and instructor certifications as well as certifications in Executive Leadership from Cornell University; CPR, AED, BLS Instructor from American Heart, and TCCC from NAEMT.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Assure the program, instructors and vehicles are state licensed. Confirm the company and the vehicles have both commercial and auto insurance. With your teen being in a vehicle alone with an instructor, please assure a proper hiring process. Assure state and federal background checks and driver history checks. Please do thorough research before selecting a Driving School. Driving is a life skill. Do not choose the cheapest option.
