I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Elizabeth Barnes. She was affordable and super-efficient. Divorce is messy, and stressful-- any way you slice it, but she knows the process. She is familiar with several widely- used attorneys in the area and is a skilled communicator and negotiator. She was quick to respond to my constant string of e-mails, and she assisted in getting me divorced "out the door" in less than 30 days. Highly recommend her!!!

When I was looking for a new family law attorney, I checked out all the websites. I checked out a few of the top rated lawyers that was listed on www.avvo.com. I called them and honestly, I wasn't impressed. I called James and presented my issues to him and he mentioned things that the other lawyers that were supposedly top rated didn't even suggest. When you're spending money, you want someone for you verses being another number. James works with you and for you. He wants to please you. He knows his stuff. He knows family law. My first attorney in my divorce was not as proficient as James is. I wish I had James the first time so I wouldn't have to go through this again. Divorce, time sharing and child support are very stressful. James clearly knows the law and especially will make you happy with the decisions that you make. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Great and thoughtful attorney. He made sure to make my experience as painless as possible. His paralegal, Jennifer, was outstanding. They are both very organized and will make sure to explain the process and options.

I had legal issues and Ms. Buchholz was able to handle them quickly, efficiently, and discreetly. I was apprehensive initially by starting this process through the internet, but after speaking with her, I felt comfortable with her and her approach. I was a person to her, not just a paycheck, as is common with so many attorneys. I highly recommend her.

Milton Acevedo and his associate attorney Felicia are both down to earth and eager to get results. They made me feel very comfortable. I was charged a retainer fee for 3 felony charges and 2 charges were not filed so Milton reduced my retainer fee by 50%.
