Cpt Matt has the perfect demeanor for a charter fishing guide - he was very patient with me and my son, extremely knowledgeable of local game species, and able to anticipate his fishing clients' needs. He was quite alert and put us onto tarpon and sharks early on our trip. While moving to another spot that afternoon - Matt spotted a school of fish and he quickly decided to put us onto them as well. My son boated a handsome jack crevalle that put up a stubborn fight. Many skippers would have passed right by them without even thinking twice. Things slowed down and Matt kept an eagle eye open for big game fish. We had hooked and lost several large sharks - finally, he got my son hooked up on a 80 lb blacktip that gave my boy a great workout. It was a beautiful fish! My son is still thumping his chest.

If you are looking for the bass fishing trip of a life you can't go wrong fishing with Monte. Our group has been fishing with him since he started his guide service with unbelivable results. I have personally caught a fish over 13 pounds fishing with him. Not only is he a great fisherman, but he is someone you will enjoy spending the day with.

Nice Captain for Family Friendly Trip! My 12 year old son caught a trophy 32" Red Fish and 30" Red Fish...which was a lot of fun. Wish we could have caught a few more fish, but all in all a really good time! Thank You!

Capt Eric has never disappointed! He is very patient, especially with my 6 year old! She loves to fish but doesn't always stay focused, he makes it fun and challenges her! She's reeled in bigger fish on his boat than a lot of grown men! You will be happy you spent the day with capt Eric! He's worth every penny!

My family and I had a great time fishing with Tom! He told us upfront when we arrived that the fishing had been tough the past few days but he would do his best to get us on some fish. That is just what he did, we caught snook, trout, red fish and some jacks. If you are looking for a professional guide who knows the bay area and will put you on some fish, Tom and Renegade charters is the way to go. I plan to fish with him again and pursue some Tarpon!

About

The Tampa Bay area has some of the world's premier fishing grounds, and the angling is excellent year round. Tampa Fishing Charters has phenomenal inshore fishing for tarpon, snook, red fish, trout, king fish, Spanish mackerel, flounder, sharks, black drum, sheepshead, and many other species, depending on the time of year. Fish inshore with us during the late spring and summer to feel the exhilaration of catching large tarpon on light tackle. These spectacular fish are known for their aerobatic, drag screaming runs. Massive amounts of snook, red fish, and trout inhabit our waters, and we fish for them when we are not fishing for tarpon. In the early spring, king fish and cobia migrate through the Tampa Bay area, and we target them when we can safely operate in the Gulf of Mexico. As you can see, Tampa Fishing Charters always has something special to offer. Family fishing is one of our fortes. Whether it is a birthday, vacation, or just a day to spend with your child, we are here to make your day enjoyable and peaceful. With the differing species surrounding the area, we are able to capture a child's attention by putting them on these fishes. Captain Rick frequently fishes with his four children who have been angling since they were old enough to walk. So, bring your young ones along to make a lasting memory on a relaxing fishing charter.
