FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $130 for an individual session and $150 for a couples session. I am in-network with Tricare. For all other types of insurance, I can submit a bill on your behalf and if you have out-of-network coverage and have met your deductible you may get most of the cost reimbursed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If there are relationship issues, I prefer to meet with the couple first. Then, I like to meet individually with each partner. At that point, I can usually figure out what's needed. Sometimes, I'll keep the couple together, but other times I will alternate individual with couples sessions. Whether we are doing couples or individual therapy, in the first session my goal is to get an overall idea of the problem, as well as some ideas for goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, as well as a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. I also have 120 hours of specialized training in sex therapy.
