Lourdes was a dynamic tutor and just a pleasure to work with! Her biggest asset is that she is a native Spanish speaker and brought a high level of authenticity to her teaching. She is very knowledgeable and has been teaching for almost 20 years which is apparent in her effectiveness at delivering the subject matter in a clear way. Aside from that, she has a very easy going demeanor and makes learning Spanish fun and comfortable!
Mr. de Warren's lectures on the history of dance are superb--rich, informative, entertaining, and enlivened with stories and examples drawn his vast personal expertise. His grasp of world cultures and languages further informs his teaching and enables him to relate to students of all ages and from many parts of the world. I would strongly recommend him as a tutor, lecturer, or teacher to anyone who enjoys large doses of delight and wonder along with their lessons.
Maria has excellent Spanish skills and her personality is great for kids and adults. Her Spanish is very proper and that was perfect for my family because I wanted my kids to learn proper Spanish, so quality was a priority for me. Her professional background is impressive! Having Maria as a tutor is a luxury!
Paolo is very personable and helpful. She is a great teacher and keeps lessons interesting. She is willing to cater the lessons to what I would like to learn. I'm a Venezuelan and has been living in the Tampa Bay area (Westchase) since 2003 with a bachelor in business administration; so I'm not a certified teacher, just really proud of my beautiful Spanish compared to all the "Spanglish" I find everyday in here, and since that's not my profession, I'm not going to charge you as a real tutor, just a reasonable fee.
