My fiancé and I were looking to get a photo portrait done here in the Villages when we were fortunate enough to find Dara Jewett, a professional photographer who very recently moved to the Villages from NYC. We met one morning at Lake Sumter Landing, a perfect spot here to do a shoot. Dara was gracious and very professional. We felt completely at ease. The shoot took less than an hour and we had the proofs in less than 2 days. We picked 4, Dara had them touched up and printed, and we are very pleased with the results. Best of all, she was considerably less than a studio shoot would have been, and we got the feel of the Villages in the photos as well. Thank you Dara! Terry Hunt

Dara was a joy to work with. She is personable, upbeat, and knows her stuff. Dara also gave me some great tips that I can use every day. I had to change our appointment time, and she was very good about it. Came to the house, and was very prompt. Communications with Dara were answered promptly. She asked the important questions, such as was our photo shoot indoors or outside, and made sure she did my makeup for the appropriate lighting being used. I would highly recommend!!

I have been doing it all my life and worked my way through college doing makeup and photography. I love art and I love to make people feel good so it is a perfect fit!
