Individual Tax Preparation
Cathy took over my tax returns, that I had been doing on TurboTax for years. All I had to do was gather my input info and copy of last years return. Load off my mind. Cost was minimal. Highly would recommend her.Apr 4, 2020VerifiedCathy S Boring, RTRP, AFSP's reply
Ms. Boring first did my mother's taxes after the sudden death of her trusted CPA. Ms. Boring was wonderful in piecing together what was necessary to go forward. Then I needed a change in handling my tax process. And again, she came through with great professionalism, detail and accuracy. I would highly recommend her with absolutely no reservation. She's too notch.Dec 9, 2019Cathy S Boring, RTRP, AFSP's reply

Thank you, Fred.
Cathy has done my taxes for the last 4 years, including an out of state return that I had to file for my rental home in Ohio. She is very knowledgeable, professional, efficient, & will complete your tax return in a timely fashion.Jan 7, 2020Cathy S Boring, RTRP, AFSP's reply
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The more organized you are, the less my fees. I charge $75 per hour, however I do have some minimum fees as follows: $125 for individual returns, $50 per state if applicable. $175 for business returns.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I meet with new clients and review their prior return(s). We get to know each other and discuss any concerns and questions. For returning clients, if things are similar to the prior year, they can bundle up their tax information and drop it off in my mail slot in my front door. I can then call if I have questions or call when they are ready. Of course, they are welcome to schedule an appointment if they prefer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a former Enrolled Agent which required 40 hours of continuing education per year. I am now part of the IRS Annual Filing Season Program, which requires 18 hours of continuing education, but I get much more than that. I get monthly and quarterly journals which I read to stay current with the most recent tax law changes.
