I hired DIYM to cater my husbands retirement party. The entire experience was great from selecting the menu to delivery and setup to eating the delicious food. Mathew is professional, punctual ( actually early!), and an amazing chef. Everyone at the event raved about the BBQ and the homemade sauce. Everything needed was included, every detail considered. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?At DIYM Catering, Chef Matt likes to speak with clients via telephone, or preferably in person to discuss their vision for their event. Chef Matt will go over budget, and get an idea of the types of food YOU like to eat (not just what is on a pre-printed menu) Based on the initial consultation, Chef Matt will then prepare a customized quote and menu for each client. If clients would like, Chef Matt would then be more than happy to provide a tasting for clients. Our job at DIYM Catering is to put a little "Delicious in Your Mouth!"
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have over 20 years cooking and managing restaurants and I am a graduate of the Cordon Bleu Culinary School.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?With over 20+ years in the corporate restaurant business, we finally decided to start our own company doing what we love, preparing food!
