Piano lessons for a 6 year old. Dave is great with her, even though it is difficult to keep her focused on the lesson; he keeps it cool and gets her interested.
It's been awesome having piano lessons with Ms. Doreen. She's such a friendly teacher, she has been incredibly patient to an adult beginner like me. I've had so much fun and knowledge attending her lessons. My piano playing skill is about to become better week by week.
Jillian is an excellent teacher. Both of my children took beginner piano lessons from her, and she was very motivating, clear, and helpful. They enjoyed learning from her. She found them interesting music and books. I highly recommend her as a teacher.
I highly recommend Debbie Boykin. My daughter is currently taking piano lessons from her and has been for the past eight years. I could not be more pleased with her progress. Debbie is very reliable and always goes above and beyond for her students I could not be more pleased with her progress. Debbie is very reliable and always goes above and beyond for her students!
Ciara is wonderful! She's professional, approachable and overall she's great to work with. I'm excited to continue lessons with her.
Lessons in Your Home was quick to tailor guitar lessons for my daughter. The instructor has been personable and has built wonderful rapport with her. She is gaining strong foundational skills each week. I highly recommend them!
Leslie Ann is a dedicated piano teacher with 30 years of experience, a talented pianist, song writer, CD artist, and worship leader. She is a competent, hardworking, caring professional, able to teach all ages from beginner to advanced levels. She enjoys teaching her students, helping them discover their talent and training them for concerts and competitions. She is committed to worshiping and praising the Creator of the Universe and wants to impart that blessing to others. She is respected by her students, who stay under her direction for years and recommend her to others. Most of her students are obtained through "word of mouth". I have witnessed her students learning from her and satisfied with her teaching and their progression. She is truly unique and multi-talented and her students are in for a treat to have her as a teacher.
I have been taking piano lessons from Ms. Bev for over 8 years now and she has been nothing but kind and helpful. I have learned music technique, history, and theory from her and I have improved greatly since I began taking lessons at the age of 8. She is very fun and incredibly passionate about music.
Gabriel is a great instructor. I have only been taking lessons for about a month and I'm amazed at how I've progressed. He makes it all very easy to grasp. I definitely recommend.
Over the last year, Mr. Raffetto has given me lessons in piano and drums. I have been a professional musician for a few years, but my skill set has grown exponentially under Mr. Raffetto's guidance. He is an excellent jazz pianist, percussionist and performer, and plays various other instruments with great proficiency. More importantly, he stresses that he is constantly a student of music and is, therefore, constantly learning. I'd recommend him to students of any age and experience. He is the most passionate musician and instructor you'll find.
I recently retired and searched for a piano instructor for myself. I found Rachel, and she comes to my home, which is amazing and easy. She is knowledgeable and has a wonderful personality. I highly recommend her, and I look forward to each lesson!
The best music school in all of Orlando and I think we have tried them all. Two of my kids and my husband take Piano and Guitar lessons with Elite Music Instruction. Very professional teachers.
I have only communicated with Mr. Toms to discuss my needs and to review his work. We have scheduled the first lesson. However, He has been very pleasant to work with thus far. Our first guitar lesson is scheduled for 5/9/15.
Brian was a fantastic piano and guitar instructor for my daughter. He truly makes learning fun for a teenager. He was always on time, patient during lessons, and his amazing talent was inspirational. Plus he has a great personality and gets along well with parents. His fees are very fair, too. (My daughter stopped lessons because she went off to college.).....Additionally, Brian is a wonderful entertainer for parties. He recently played at my mother's 85th birthday bash. EVERYONE loved his beautiful classical guitar music.
Wicky Woo is very informative, professional, personable. To find an instructor that you could connect to is important to me. If I can relax and feel comfortable.. I’ll thrive. He makes me feel extra comfortable and myself. Highly recommended! 😊
I teach piano, music theory, and music composition. I have a bachelor's degree in Music Composition and a minor in Piano and Theory from Indiana University.
As a teacher, I focus equally on formal technique and personal expression. Mastering correct form provides the foundation, upon which a student's capacity for the latter may grow. I view our time together as an opportunity to encourage musical and personal growth. My goal is to encourage discipline while fostering creativity. Maintaining the student's interest by adapting my teaching methods to every individual is an important focus, as is engaging the student by allowing him/her choice in the material we learn in lessons. This not only facilitates a cooperative environment, but also allows me to tailor my teaching style to the student's interests, strengths, and learning preferences. My tuition for private instructions are as follows: * 30 minutes for $25 * 45 minutes for $37.50 * 60 minutes for $50 I believe music theory is an important focus for a student to understand how tones relate to each other in any piece of music. These relationships will be explored aurally, visually, and tactilely in all lessons. In teaching, my goal is to encourage students to learn and grow independently. In my studio (or your home), mistakes are opportunities for improvement. For the duration of our lesson, you (or your child) are in a nurturing zone of freedom of expression. Join me in an exploration of personal talent and creativity. I am self taught with my own views and ideas of music and how it works together :) I am inspired by many different genres of music and it gives me a very creative outlook
Mr. & Mrs. Fleck both received Bachelor of Music degrees plus one year's study toward their Masters (on full fellowship) at the renowned Eastman School of Music, Rochester, NY and both received the coveted Performers Certificate from that institution. Mrs. Fleck studied there as a younger student in the Preparatory Department of ESM as a budding concert pianist. The lure of New York City proved too strong for them to complete their masters degree....Bill was invited to join the Metropolitan Opera Studio...the touring wing of the parent company...and both he and Lynne went on to establish themselves as talented professional performers for several years in NYC before being invited to relocate to San Francisco to join Western Opera Theater, again, a touring company associated with the San Francisco Opera Company....they've both done a bit of touring! When those engagements were terminated (nobody stays with WOT more than three years) and a faculty position opened up at CSU, Sacramento, Bill applied and was appointed as assoc. Professor of voice and opera at that school. When his professional engagements took him out of town, Lynne was a natural choice to provide the students with the instruction they needed....the students actually benefitted from the slightly different perspective of soprano and bass-baritone voice examples. As all good things do, the job came to an end because of the lack of an advanced degree and the Flecks moved once again, this time to the Boston area where Bill had established himself as a regular with the famed Boston Opera under Sarah Caldwell and also where he secure a position as voice/opera teacher at the University of Lowell. When he got too busy with rehearsals at the Boston Opera, guess who again filled the gap left by his absence....you got it...Lynne! Well, after a few years went by, Bill was tapped to join the Metropolitan Opera as a regular artist, meaning that he performed several times a week in both supporting and featured roles, while "covering"....read "standing by"...for the lead roles which were performed by international stars. Lynne had quite a number of piano students coming to their home in Ridgefield, CT during this period. They just recently moved from CT to New Smyrna Beach where they will not miss, one bit, the ice and snow of New England
My goal for this class is to help everybody who is interested in playing piano to get their dream fulfilled. I teach classical, jazz, smooth jazz, gospel, funk, R&B, etc.
The piano is taught at all levels of difficulty from my home. However, I will travel short distances within the area.
