- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not give you a low estimate just to get hired and then raise the price like I hear a lot of companies do. Our price only changes if we are asked to do more than the original agreement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically there will be a trip to the home we listen to what the client wants to accomplish with the system, a lighting design assessment is done, a quote is sent to the client via email. The quote is adjusted if necessary to fit into the clients budget (possibly change the number of fixtures, use a fixture with a shorter warranty, or a combination of the two). The first half of the total is paid. System is ordered and installed. Client is happy with the job and pays the balance.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up working in my dad's irrigation business. Once my daughter was born, I decided to take the valuable lessons I learned from my father and the military to start my own business. We added low voltage LED landscape lighting to satisfy my creative side and provide a service that not only beautifies but also adds security to a residence.
