For adults, you'll immediately feel a renewed sense of self-confidence in your personal fitness and health! Park's tae kwon do "fitness and self-defense" curriculum will enhance your ability to respond when you're in need to protect yourself or to simply enjoy the many physical benefits of losing weight, greater muscle tone, and overall cardio and endurance that your body will feel.
The families that train here at Park's tae kwon do are living by our motto, "The family that kicks together, sticks together." It is empowering to see moms and dads training together with their children while creating a special bond that unites them as a family. Park's tae kwon do families are constantly motivating each other and setting goals to become "black belts" as a family!
Our mission is to improve the daily lives for each of our students through our proven tae kwon do curriculum, challenging both physical and mental abilities in children and adults. We strive to help all of our students reach the goal of "black belt excellence" and guide them to the healthy, enjoyable life that we all deserve.
The Park's family has been producing "black belt leaders" in the United States for over 50 years. Considering the entire family lives here in South Florida, the Park's school headquarters has been located here for over 30 years. The family's lineage goes directly back to South Korea, the birthplace of tae kwon do.
Grand Master Jung Soo Park, 9th degree black belt with over 50 years of experience in martial arts, established the first Park's Tae kwon do Federation school in the United States in 1974. Grand Master Jung Soo Park takes pride in the Park's tae kwon do schools having the traditional roots and teaching the true authentic culture of tae kwon do.
His sons, Master Cheong Park and Master Shick Park, carry on their father's legacy in teaching the art of tae kwon do. They have been members of the United States Olympic Committee and have produced both state and national tae kwon do champions. The Park's sons oversee all the Park's TaeKwonDo Federation schools, and continue their own training with Grand Master Jung Soo Park.
