FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, very important because technology changes frequently. This past summer i took a cinematography course at USC in california. This was especially helpful in understanding cinema and everything that is involved. This course was important because now photographers are also shooting video in addition to their photo shoots.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
One thing i wish customers knew about my profession is how involved the creative photography process really is. From the begging phases of a shoot to the end. Starts off with visualizing the idea or concept that the client wants, then getting all the necessary equipment for the shoot, then during the shoot many things go on at one from making sure every detail is attended to from the clothing to the positioning of the subjects, then finally importing all the images, editing though them and choosing best selects, then minor photoshop adjustments all the selects, then output onto cd/dvd/album/ect...Their are many other details within this outline but it is an involved process that you have to love! ; )
