Introduction: A titanium dioxide UV inhibitor can be found in our gates' polyester coating. The corrosion, hardness and chemical resistance rating of our gates is very good, and they have a thick, 3-5 mil coating; meaning, there won't be corrosion, peeling, and chipping of the coating, exceeding most painted surfaces' life expectancy. Our products are the most attractive, durable and maintenance-free in the industry due to our superior materials and workmanship.
If steel or iron gates are what you want, keep in mind that the zinc coating on end cuts and weld joints of gates made from pre-galvanized tubing is no longer present. In order to prevent corrosion, these non-galvanized iron gates need to solely rely on the paint finish. They are still prone to rusting despite frequent maintenance.
