Very hapy with Rescue MeDebbie! My apartment was a mess and the result is totally worth the price. She did everything I was expecting and even more. I'll hire her again to keep my place nice and clean.

I met Ana Valladares because she was renting an apartment as the landlord’s representative in Miami. My overall experience with her was excellent, for more tan one year. She is a very responsible realtor, a honest person, and the contract was properly performed. Ana was always reachable each time I called her, and she always had a proper response to my requests. I highly recommend her as a good professional.

I am a lawyer licensed to practice law in the State of Florida since 1997 and the owner of Christopher J. Gertz, P.A., a full service commercial litigation and real estate law firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I am also the owner of a 19 unit apartment building in Deerfield Beach, Florida that is managed by Daniel DuCharme of HDK Capital Realty and Property Management. I have personally known Mr. DuCharme for over six years now and it is my sincere pleasure to highly recommend Mr. DuCharme and HDK Capital Realty & Property Management. With the ability to grasp and resolve complex issues, along with his attention to detail, exemplary work ethic, ability to interact with different types of people, and energetic, dynamic and vibrant personality, I have always found Mr. DuCharme to be a tremendous individual and the consummate professional.

I cannot say enough nice things about Stavros. I was looking for a studio/1bedroom apartment in Miami which proved to be a very difficult task. After working with 2 realtors with no success, I came across Stavros who was able to find me the place I am moving into. I was really struck by his efficiency (which is greatly appreciated in this Miami real estate market). He responded to my emails instantly and arranged apartment viewings in an organized manner. I also loved his honesty; he was the first to point out the pluses and minuses of apartments. Stavros is thoughtful; he knew how stressed out I was about finding my apartment (I had less than 2 weeks until my move out date to find one) and he was checking in with me constantly, updating me on the process, new listings and such. His interpersonal skills are exceptional; he was very respectful with everyone he interacted with, which facilitated the process of dealing with the landlord, the listing agent, etc. Overall, Stavros made this chaotic process as easy as possible. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to move. You won't be disappointed!

I am a single woman who needed to list and sell 2 residential properties and buy a new residence. In the end, I had 3 closings in 10 days...the sale of the 2 properties and the purchase of my present residence. The coordination of these sales and purchase required creative and tireless efforts by Innovative Realty and it's team...particularly Josh Katz and his asst., Khara. They walked me through each step, help my hand when necessary, and made what was a naturally stressful time into a very positive ,lucrative experience. Josh gave me endless attention, support, and creative options to accomplish my real estate needs and goals. Ican guarantee anyone who would choose Josh and Innovative Realty Professionals, that they will get step by step attention and your best interests first and foremost. They were wonderfully watching out for me and the entire process. They are winners for sure and I will be forever grateful....Meryl B.

Mr. Andres Zapata was not only punctual and extremely attentive , he listened to every question I had and most importantly was able to give me legitimate answers as well as solutions. Mr. Zapata was very professional . I would not have found the apartment that I am currently in if I did not have the help Mr. Zapata had given me. I would recommend him to any and everyone I know. Without question i would work with Andres again. I am very appreciative for the amount of time Mr. Zapata spent with me and always kept a poised and professional work ethic.

It was a pleasure to work with Yamilee. A very kind person, helping us with a lot of time and dedication to get the house that we were looking for and not a house to buy quick. It took several houses to go around looking at the good and the bad and we didn't get the pressure with her to get a home which wasn't the right one for us. She always was trying to be sure that we were buying "our house". Once we found it, she took care of every single detail with the seller's Realtor to complete all paperwork, inspections and any requests to the sellers. We are enjoying our house and we have only a big thanks to her because she was on our side at all times and we got "our house".

Gleb is highly professional, experienced, and very knowledgeable agent. In 2010 he helped me to acquire an apartment in Hallandale FL. Gleb provided highly professional advice on simple things as parking location and sunlight exposure (the other agents never mentioned it) to the complicated issues such as the property valuation and market outlook. Thumbs up.

It was my first time renting in the united states. So i wasnt aware of the policies.Betty was kind and patient enough to walk me thru step by step. She answered my silly answers and responded to my late text msgs early in the mornings. She was also kind enough to do viewings for me when i couldnt get time off from work.she did detailed videos of the apartments and gave her recommendations. And even long after her job is done she still keeps in touch with me.

What does a real estate agent do?

Real estate agents help their clients buy, sell, and rent commercial and residential properties. There are also real estate agents that sell industrial and agricultural real estate, but the majority sell residential properties. To become a real estate agent, you must be at least 18 years old, successfully complete real estate courses, and pass a real estate exam. Be sure to check for any required licensing, too. Often real estate agents will earn 5 percent to 6 percent of the total home sale price for their work in representing their client. Typically this commission is split equally between the buyer’s agent and the seller’s agent. Here is an overview of what a real estate agent does, according to the United States Department of Labor:

              • Represent clients who are looking to buy, sell and rent properties.
              • Stay knowledgeable about regional real estate prices, mortgages, market conditions and related information, and advise clients accordingly.
              • Determine competitive market prices by comparing properties.
              • Create and publicize lists of properties for sale, including details such as location and features.
              • Market properties through advertisements, open houses and listing services.
              • Show prospective buyers or renters properties.
              • Present purchase offers to sellers for consideration.
              • Mediate negotiations between buyer and seller.
              • Ensure that all terms of purchase contracts are met.
              • Prepare documents, such as loyalty contracts, purchase agreements and deeds.

What should you look for in a real estate agent?

When you’re hiring a real estate agent you want to find a qualified pro who can negotiate the best deal for your home — whether you’re buying or selling. Reading reviews will help you weed out obvious bad operators; you want to work with someone who treats their clients with fairness and respect. That said, you also want someone who can play hardball and maximize your real estate deal. Ask for references from recent clients, and be sure to call them.

Experts encourage you to interview more than one prospective real estate agent before hiring. A home sale or home purchase is a big deal — sometimes the biggest deal in a person’s life — and you want to find an agent who will work hard for you. In today’s market, having a real estate agent who is social media savvy and has an attractive online presence is critical. Ask the agent how they plan to market your house. Review their listings, and ask yourself if they have professional photos with homes that are professionally staged. If the answer is no, they might not have the marketing savvy you’re looking for. Ask what price they would list your house at and why. Pay attention to how they communicate with you during your initial interviewing phase. Are they too busy to respond for several days? Are they clear and helpful? This information is a clue to how they’ll engage during the entire process.

What's the difference between a real estate broker and an agent?

Real estate agents and real estate brokers both help clients buy, sell, and rent residential and commercial properties. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, real estate brokers are licensed to manage their own real estate businesses. Real estate agents cannot have their own real estate office and must work under a broker. Real estate brokers often have real estate firms and employ real estate agents. Those real estate agents may be employees of the firm, or they may work on contract and earn part of any commission they bring into the firm.

If you are a homeowner ready to sell or a buyer in the market for a new home, either a real estate broker or a real estate agent can help you achieve your goal. What is more important than their title is their track record and client success stories. When interviewing real estate agents or brokers to help you buy or sell a home, ask about their recent sales history as compared with the original listing prices. If you’re selling a home, ask how they would market your home and what price they would list it at. Whether you hire an agent or broker, you want a professional who will have your best interests at heart.

What do real estate agents charge?

Real estate agents typically don’t charge a set rate to their clients, but rather earn a commission on the price of the final home sale. In traditional real estate, there is a buyer’s agent and a seller’s agent. The two agents receive 5 percent to 6 percent of the final home sale price and split it evenly, meaning they each earn roughly 2.5 percent to 3 percent of the total home sale. If you are a home seller, you may have fees associated with the sale that are above and beyond the commission the agents earn. The real estate agent may have you pay marketing fees, MLS fees, early cancellation fees, or more. Always ask pricing details before signing a contract so you clearly understand your financial obligations. Here are some of the average (and common) costs that can arise when selling a home:

              • Home inspection: $200-$350 or more, depending on region.
              • Home appraisal: $250-$400 or more, depending on region.
              • Professional real estate photography: $275-$550 or more, depending on photographer, square footage of house, and special requests like sunset shots.
              • Closing costs: Often split between the seller and buyer. An average range for the buyer to pay is between 3 percent and 4 percent, with the seller paying a lower fee at 1 percent to 3 percent of the home’s price.
