- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My Fees: Bookkeeping/Payroll- monthly, quarterly, or annual - depending on your accounting & payroll needs, my fees are reasonable and do not change once both of us are comfortable with the arrangement. Tax Returns - my fees haven't changed since I've started my business. $400 for business tax returns and $200 for individual tax returns, plus $100 for each schedule C reported with the individual returns, plus $50 for each state tax return (business or individual) to cover the e-file fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As owner, I take an active interest in all of my clients. The first step is usually an initial phone conversation so I can introduce myself and get to know the client's needs and specifics. Depending on the client's requirements, the next step is usually an in-person meeting so they can get to know me . The final step is to discuss fees and unless both sides agree and are comfortable with the terms, the client becomes part of the KT Crowe Inc family.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As owner, I am an Enrolled Agent and I am required to have Continued Education each year as mandated by the IRS. My staff and I has over 25 years in bookkeeping, accounting, and tax return preparation. My staff includes Quickbooks Pro-Advisors and we are proficient in both Online and Desktop Quickbooks. We offer technical assistance to all of our clients as part of our services because we know that are clients' time is valuable.
