I have been involved in the health & fitness industry since 1999. The services that I provide are; Resistance Training, Weight Management, Sports Performance, Wellness & Energy, Proper Nutrition for the entire family and Rehabilitation. I don't look at what I do as just a job. I LOVE what I do and I know what it takes to maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle. I practice what I preach and I care about making a difference in other people's lives!

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

I enjoy interacting with others and having an opportunity to educate them about health and fitness. I have also learned plenty from my clients. I never claim to know everything. Life is a learning experience and we continue to learn until the day that we pass. I've worked with individuals that have no idea what to do and with those that do have experience. I've trained military personnel, law enforcement officers, high school and collegiate athletes. I look forward to helping many more individuals.

Willie Vega is an amazing person and a fantastic trainer. The training I received from him was stright to the point. He cares about his clients and is very passionate about his work. There is nothing he ask of you that he hasn't done himself. For me personally, I know that the training and advice I received from him will continue to help me on my weight loss journey.

Willie is the man. I go to FSU, and I got the chance to train with him over the summer while I had an internship in Orlando. Willie will accommodate to your specific needs, whatever that may be. I let him know I wanted to lose belly weight while gaining muscle, and from the get go he was determined to get me where I wanted to be. Willie is able to draw from his experience in the Marines, as well as years of football and baseball to help cater different exercises for everyone. Every step of the way Willie was pushing me to my limits, all within reason and nothing I wasn't comfortable with. He has a certain way to get you to go the extra mile, and you end up so glad you listen. He truly believes that everyone has potential, they just haven't realized it or are too lazy to uncover it. He has taught me things about my health I would have never learned on my own. I now know how to eat better, how important constant exercise is, and to never give up. Not only did he get me into the best shape I've been in a long time, but I've made a friend during the process. He is friendly, colorful, and is absolutely the right choice when looking for a personal trainer. He's the best!!

I trained with Mr. Vega for approximately four months. The only reason I stopped my training was that I started a new job and had scheduling conflicts. I had never worked with a trainer before and was somewhat apprehensive. However, Mr. Vega is a true professional who is dedicated and knowledgeable. I was comfortable in working with him and had complete trust in his commitment and ability to help me meet my fitness goals. Unlike other trainers I have seen at different gyms, Mr. Vega never used his cell phone during our sessions; though always polite and pleasant, he never wasted our time in excessive conversation, but rather remained focused on the task at hand. He was extremely organized and kept meticulous track of our workouts. He was also very punctual. I was never bored during the sessions because he always varied the activities; he also knew when to add to what I was already doing to make it more challenging. I saw a visible improvement in my muscle tone during the time that I worked with him, as well as an increase in my overall strength, which was one of my goals. Mr. Vega also sent helpful e-mails from time to time which were filled with valuable nutritional information and other topics of interest. In short, I strongly recommend him to people of all ages and fitness levels who are seeking to implement positive and lasting lifestyle changes.

I have been training with Willie for a few months now, I was 16 when I started and I am now 17. Willie is a very organized person, he keeps track of your visits, future scheduled visits, and your gains and losses in the physical aspects. When you are training with Willie, there is no playing around. He is straight to the point, get it done, but do it right. Willie is an excellent motivator and mentor, he is very easy to get along with. He has changed my body in miraculous ways that I didn't think could be possible. As an athlete myself, I can tell a dramatic change in my body and stamina since I have started training with Willie. I will continue to work with Willie for as long as I can, and I will recommend his services to anybody who is looking for a dramatic change in their life and body.

I started training with Willie six months ago not having exercised in almost seven years. During my fist tentative steps toward reconnecting with my body I discovered I couldn't even complete a single workout routine without nearly losing consciousness. Spurred by my own frailties i visited my doctor only to be blindsided by the reality that I had developed high blood pressure and stage one hypertension at the age of twenty five. I left my doctors office and spoke to Willie about my visit. He told me not to worry about it to much and that we would take things slow until I was healthy enough to pick up the pace.  With a keen eye and attention to detail Willie helped me to push through the fog of my seven year malaise toward a brighter healthier future.  From a 95 pound 20 rep bench press and a 185 pound legs sled Willie has helped guide me safely to the point that I can complete a 200 pound bench for twenty reps and 430 on the legs sled. I can't thank Willie enough for all he has helped me accomplish in the six months we have worked together and I look forward to continuing to work with him.

" There are no shortcuts where we're going" This is the first piece of advice that Willie gave me on our first session 4 months ago. As someone is was 100 pounds overweight, and took short cuts my entire life, this is exactly what I needed to hear. I was also surprised that Willie was able to come to my house to train me. This was a HUGE benefit for me. I have some of my own equipment, but he also comes fully prepared with training materials. He is never late, and always organized. There are times through out every lesson, where I feel like I'm ready to give up, but he doesnt ever let that happen. I have zero motivation, which is why I ended up in this position, but Willie comes with an Army of Motivation. My results alone speak to that. I have lost about 40 pounds, and have real strength. He has taught me so much about proper eating and nutrition. I can see muscles now, I didnt know existed. Words really cant say how grateful I am. This has become one of the best decisions of my life. And I could not have found a more qualified, determined, and kinder trainer. There is one bad thing- All the money I am spending on new, smaller clothes!

I have been training with Willie for almost three months now. My only regret is I did not start sooner. Willie is the best trainer I have ever worked with. Everything he promises in his profile, he delivers. He gives you a training program that is designed to meet your individual goals and there is simply no better motivator.

Willie is the best trainer ever. I have had trainers who trained race car drivers and they do not compare to Willie. He emphasizes core strength and muscle groups, ratehr than just isolated muscles. Since training with Willie, my posture, strength and energy have exponentially increased. It's the single best thing you can do for yourself.

Willie Vega is a great trainer. He is definitely amazing at what he does and he does it at a very affordable cost. When I started training I had low endurance and medium strength. I started with 12 lb hand weights and ended at 30 lbs (I started lifting at 90 lbs with my legs and ended at 130lbs) …all in less than 2 months (seeing him 3 times a week). You will never repeat the same workout twice, expect during resistance day; and even then he mixes things up. He is very organized, he has all your workouts listed with your weights and he takes notes where you struggled so that you can track your progress. He will push you and you will see results. He is motivating and knows a lot about nutrition and health. You won’t regret training with him.

Willie was a phenomenal trainer. He helped me with techniques, and proper form while working out. He taught me a way of life, with exercise and nutrition, that will be carried out throughout the rest of my life. I am forever grateful for what he taught me. I highly recommend him! Quit thinking about it, sign up for training with Willie, and watch how your life will change! :)

Willie has been the best trainer i have had. I used to see him train people at my gym and i always loved how disciplined he was with his charts and watch and everything. He was always on point with making sure he pushed his clients enough and wasn't pushy nor was he ever on his "cell phone" while they worked out. I took that into consideration and spoke to him about training. I signed up and trained with him for about 6 months! I swear those 6 months taught me SO much. I learned so much about my diet, about my lifestyle choices, so much about supplements ..just so so much. Til this day i used the things he taught me. The only reason i stopped training with him was because i had to relocate to a different state..I am currently training with some one else and i always catch myself comparing the two. WIllie YOU ARE MISSED!! Thank you so much for teaching me all you taught me about diet and excercise, for taking time out to create a work out thaat was perfect for ME and for being so kind and professional at all times. You are awsome! Know that :)

Willie has demonstrated, time and time again, his knowledge, experience and importance of proper fitness training and nutrition. From strength and conditioning to property nutrition and weight loss, he carefully tailors every program specific to the wants and needs of each individual client. Willie is honest, caring and reliable and will go the extra mile to ensure that you will not leave any workout session disappointed! I would refer Mr. Vega to anyone looking to improve their overall personal health.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer 5 training packages based on sessions per month. You have from 5 sessions per month to 13 sessions per month (1 session a week to 3 sessions a week and in between).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First of all, I set up an appointment to meet with the potential client in person. I have them fill out an assessment and questionnaire form. I provide them with information regarding the health and fitness program that I offer. I address any questions or concerns they may have and assist them in choosing the program that best fits their needs, wants and what they can afford.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been an athlete most of my life and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Throughout My life, I've noticed that many individuals struggle to live what's considered a normal life due to weight, physical abilities and health issues. I always found myself helping others to try and reach a better place in their lives. It's something that just comes naturally and I've always felt that I was put on this earth to share my knowledge and assist others.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I find that the most common jobs I do are ones that require me to have patience and to be very understanding with my clients. The client might have some type of limitation due to either injury or just a physical defect. Also, there are those that have never really done any type of exercise at all and are very physically week. You have to work with these clients at their pace and not yours. Most people want results quickly, but have obsticles that hinder their progress and I have to be able to carefully work around that, motivate them and guide them the best that I can.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Well first of all, you want someone with a wide range of experience. What I mean by that, is you want someone that has been doing this for a length of time. Of course, you will decide how long is long enough. You also want someone who is versatile enough, like training both genders, wide range of age groups and people with different backgrounds and needs. Not everyone is the same, so the trainer needs to be able to improvise and adapt to the client.
