The best endorsement is seeing myself using what I have learned from the materials provided from Arbor Tutors and how they taught me a bunch of tricks and tips for saving time on both the logical and analytical reasoning sections. My score went up over 100 points in less than a month. I made the right choice hiring them.

We have been using Darryl Marquette with Success Academics for all three children, ages middle through high school. Darryl has a deep commitment to each of our children to succeed, plus he is just over the top crazy about math. Darryl has become an extended member of our family. He is very encouraging and the children don't dread math anymore. We would highly recommend Darryl and his team at Success Academics.

We tried Mark for the first time last week and I'm soooo happy we did! He's great with our daughter and she learned so much in the one session until we plan to use him throughout the summer and next school year. He really knows his stuff and he's very affordable! Thanks Mark! Sharrone

We found Robert in the middle of the school year in 2014. Our 8 year old son was having a very challenging time with math, and his father and I were not able to assist him without us all ending up beyond frustrated. Robert is soft spoken, kind, patient, encouraging an effective! Our sons grades have improved, and he comes home from school telling us that math is easier for him than it used to be! We would highly recommend Robert to any parent considering a math tutor for their student.

The sessions are going well. Ila and I have marveled at our good fortune in having such an excellent tutor. I tutor for a living, so I know of what I speak. Ila says she understands what she's being taught and thinks she has a chance at remembering it. We can't thank you and your company enough for matching us up with such an exceptional teacher. I guess the proof is in the pudding so we shall see, but so far so good. One of the reasons that this is going so well is because these are one-on-one lessons. It coasts more but it's worth it. If you are serious about speaking Spanish, hire Timothy. He makes learning Spanish fun and gives cultural context to help understand deeper. Our lessons are a blend of disciplined text learning, fun listening and talking in Spanish about life happenings, reading out loud news stories about current and past events. We are only three months in and I’ve aready seen so much progress as evidenced by visiting a Spanish speaking country with my wife last week and being so much more comfortable talking. Timothy has pushed me to hear and think in Spanish rather than to be translating all the time.

I have always had a confidence issue when I get into a testing environment, anxiety is a major problem for me. Due to my particular circumstances, I was advised by Chelsea that I could apply for additional testing time from the ACT organization. Thankfully, I got 50% more time to take the test. I would not even have known that this was possible if Chelsea had not given me this information and relevant advice. I have to say that after spending tutoring time with my Chelsea tutor, my expectations were more than satisfied, not only did I do well in my ACT’s, I was able to achieve a 31 score, which I never thought I would be able to do.

Mr. Gathany has tutored two of my high school kids in math and been too effective for his own good, as far as I can tell. We've only had a few appointments each. He communicates really well with kids and takes the intimidation out of math so they have the confidence to go forward. Easy the schedule. Highly recommended.

I have hired several tutors over the years, and know that not all are created equal. Daniel Vaccaro is among one of the best in the business. He is dependable, goes above and beyond, and is committed to helping kids succeed at math. He uses humor, and a plethora of tools, to simplify math and keep it interesting. His multi sensory approach to teaching has been the key to my daughter's success in high school math. She and I cannot recommend him enough!

Martha Rummel started working weekly with our son Jonathan during the second semester of high school chemistry and continued through the end of the school year. Martha came to our home for the tutoring sessions, which helped make a comfortable learning environment for our son. Comments from Jonathan: “Martha is very personable and very easy to relate to. She takes time to make certain that you understand the material she is helping you with. She is passionate about what she teaches!” I listened in on the tutoring sessions and noted how well Jonathan was able to understand the subject material and solve problems. Ultimately, his grades reflected the work, with an A for a final semester grade. I would highly recommend Martha – she is punctual, has terrific knowledge of Chemistry and was able to communicate with Jonathan about the subject such that he excelled in his class work.

Kellae was literally, let me make sure you’re hearing me, literally a gift from heaven. Kellae stepped into the madness of our busy and ever-changing life and rescued our daughter from the shame and struggles that come with Dyslexia. Within a mere two weeks, Kellae had identified our daughter's strengths and weaknesses, de-shamed her, taught her some amazingly simple strategies (font sizes, black background, etc.) and had her reading perfectly. But the part I was most impressed with was how quickly and deeply our daughter bonded to Kellae. Even though she brought school work with her, our daughter would count the minutes until she would arrive. When we had to unexpectedly postpone a meeting, our daughter was visibly very “bummed” until they were together. Learning became fun for her again and that was far more of a gift that we had ever hoped for. Another unexpected plus came when we were planning a new path and picking a new school for our daughter. Kellae went home and researched countless schools and put together a list of the top five she recommended. She helped coordinate the paperwork, attended school meetings and went far and above what we could have ever asked of her. Our daughter has transformed over the last six months under Kellae’s guidance and her mother and I just shake our heads in disbelief and count our blessings. Kellae is literally a gift directly from heaven for our precious little girl. I know that a review does not dictate whether or not you give Kellae a chance. What I can say is that, for our family, she is the perfect advocate. Good luck on your journey.” -Scott Ross

I started piano lessons with Dr. John Stonko of American Piano Academy a year and a half ago after almost thirty years since my last lesson. It has been such a rewarding return! From the onset, Dr. Stonko has been astute in assessing my abilities and engaged in what I would like to accomplish musically. He has therefore developed a plan personal to me. I think this focus on individual learning distinguishes APA from other piano instruction. In fact, I was wary of the absence of a personal approach when I began my search for a teacher. I think it's fairly common for many piano teachers to assign an all-in-one book of theory, exercises and excerpts of favorite melodies. Consequently, students learn the piano in a very limited manner. Fortunately, this is not the case with Dr. Stonko. Whether you are a beginner or wish to resume piano studies, you will find that the lessons with APA are dynamic and worthwhile. You will advance in technique and repertoire. By the way, my husband who has played piano all his life and participates in piano competitions, has also studied with Dr. Stonko and finds his teaching incredibly smart. On a last note, I would simply add that these are great lessons and every week I am eager to learn more.
