- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Only on a very broad level. An in home consultation is $100.00. Design Consultation only is $75.00 per hour. Compensation can be worked in many different ways including a percentage of the budget or cost plus.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I begin the history of the house or its inspiration. Next, I look to the interests of the homeowners, their goals for the project and the budget. Then, I assess any pre-existing pieces for compatibility. Finally, I combine these elements and present my ideas to the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father was a builder and my mother was a wallpaper contractor. I was the cheap summer/collage labor. Twenty plus years in the industry. My performance is based on experience and self absorbed education.
