About this pro
I have 15 years of experience in interior design, handling everything from small updates to large renovations/remodels. My approach is practical and budget-minded. And I have earned the Best of Houzz Award for Customer Satisfaction for 3 years. I meet a lot of people who suffer from "CHAOS" which is "Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome." They might be embarrassed of their tired furnishings, they are buried in clutter or just don't know where to start. I love helping clients discover their preferences and guiding them into smart, practical choices when it comes to their furnishings. The best part is the finished room that is a reflection of who they are and how they live.

Q & A
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am an Allied Member of ASID, and earned a BFA in Interior Design. Each year ASID members are required to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to maintain professional affiliation. I enjoy learning about trends, products and solutions that will improve my job or make projects more successful.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I spent 10 years as a marketing professional in the telecom industry and then ran my father's manufacturing business with my sister and brother-in-law for 15 years. I always had a passion for art and design (I was the only artist in a family of engineers) and wanted to have a flexible schedule that allowed me to spend more time with my son. After selling our family business in 2012, I feel blessed to be able to pursue my dream career.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I've worked with single adults, families with young children and teenagers, empty nesters as well as retirees. I enjoy working with folks who have worked with a professional designer before because they understand that designing, renovating and decorating is not necessarily a skill everyone has. I like to help clients transform outdated, dysfunctional rooms into beautiful, timeless spaces.
