Introduction: Working with couples is my primary focus. With couples, I hold 90-minute sessions so that there is enough time for you both to discuss problems fully and get significant changes made. 90-minutes also provide time to dedicate a portion of the session to focus on strengths.
My work as a Divorce Coach and Child Specialist stand out because I am trained to help clients and lawyers navigate the emotional side of divorce. I also educate parents about their children's needs through the divorce and beyond. I help clients define and implement a plan for a post-divorce relationship as well as a plan for the future.
In mediation, my experience in the mental health field as well as my training to be a registered neutral in Georgia, are a beneficial combination for clients. My understanding of the emotional process, children's needs and developmental stages, the family's desire to preserve a co-parenting relationship, and the benefits to the family of making their own decisions is priceless.
