Introduction: I am an IT professional with over 25 years of experience in the area of corporate network and computer support for companies such as Ford, GM, Costco and more. I still provide wireless warehouse management support for many of these companies with a small technical firm located in Hoschton, Georgia. I do personal support for at home customers like you as a part time endeavour. I work on both Windows PC and Apple products and have extensive knowledge in both. Most of my customers know me personally and advertise me by word of mouth. Many are older people who lived most of their lives without a computer and are just getting started in the on line world. I offer a sliding scale of payment for my services based on my customers ability to pay. If you are on a fixed income such as Social Security or disability I will charge you a lot less than I will if you are a practising neurosurgeon for instance. In any case my quality of service is equal regardless of who you are and my prices are significantly lower than almost any other place you can take your computer for repair. I will usually provide door to door service from my shop to your home with no extra cost and will provide you exact prices for parts and labor. I try hard to provide accurate estimates before I get your machine, but sometimes I get in there and find more issues than we originally thought when I visited you. If that is the case, I will contact you before any further work is done rather than upcharge you. If you decide a repair is too expensive and would rather get a second opinion, that is fine. I will return your machine unrepaired at no cost to you.
My attitude is one that says I will treat you, the customer, as the most important part of my business. Even more importantly, I believe in treating everyone the way I would want to be treated if I were in his or her shoes. I will always use "plain English" not IT jargon when I explain problems and solutions to you. If you don't understand something, simply ask and I will explain it again. Simply put: If I do a good job, you will tell your friends... If I don't do a good job you will tell your friends.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to working with you.
Information technology has always been intriguing to me. I love finding and solving problems, and I love happy customers even more. Many of my customers have become long standing friends. I feel I am helping the community I live in as a whole by providing honest support for everyone's online presence by repairing their gadgets at a very reasonable price. I love helping people communicate and stay in touch by bridging the digital divide and making tech more accessible and less intimidating for everyone.
