Introduction: Formed in 2013 in the Sweet Auburn Historic District of Downtown Atlanta, Sweet Auburn String Band brings high-energy soul to bluegrass and other great southern and mountain music traditions.
We're new to Thumbtack, but not new to private events and the Georgia music scene.
We have years of experience with weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, and all manner of private parties— large and small, casual to formal. We specialize in getting the young and old up movin’ and shakin’, but we can also play a bride down the aisle as sweet as can be. For most events, we can set up our own professional-quality PA system, saving you from having to hire an AV company. Let's work together to make your event a swingin' good time and great memory.

SWSB was among the very first decisions our daughter and I made for her wedding. We secured them early for her date and venue and we were SO HAPPY every step of the way. Dan and his band were EXCEPTIONAL to work with, attention to every detail, offered suggestions and thought through our day. The execution of the music, the night, the entire day was AMAZING! GREAT sounds, great guys, awesome songs. Our daughter, her husband and ALL of us in attendance were THRILLED with everything - BOOK THEM !!!

They were an amazing band and put on a great show for my wife's birthday. They brought all of the gear they needed, and setup in our backyard for a great evening. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great band.
