Planning a wedding is a very stressful process, and music plays an important role. Determining whether to go with a band or a DJ was a big decision. For us, it was essential to have music that all guests could relate to which is sometimes difficult with a band. We made the decision to choose a DJ because we wanted an array of music. To find the right talent to execute this was top of mind. DJShidi made this an easy choice for us. From the beginning he was a creative problem-solver. The song I wanted to walk down the aisle to proved to be very difficult to find as an instrumental. DJShidi jumped right in and created an instrumental to the radio version of our song. He also was very good with sound control and knew how to strategically place the speakers to optimize sound throughout our open-space venue. The guests never stopped dancing! Some of our favorite wedding photos were those that were captured of us dancing and enjoying the music DJShidi played. He is very professional, on time, and an all around great person to work with. I would recommend his services to anyone!

King Shidi Entertainment was the DJ at my wedding, he did a FANTASTIC job. What I loved most about working with King Shid was his attention to detail. He met with me and my husband 3 times prior to my wedding to discuss our needs, anticipated needs and our vision. He was always extremely professional during our engagements. As a DJ, I didn't expect the level of engagement that he afforded which was surprising to me and my planning team. He attended my venue walk through and my rehearsal to ensure that all of our bases were covered, opposed to just showing up day of and waiting on direction. As a bride, I think that King Shidi willingness to make sure our day was executed flawlessly was a HUGE weight lifted off of my shoulder because that was ONE less thing I had to worry about. I would strongly recommend King Shidi Entertainment due to his level of professionalism, work ethic and attention to detail. Moving forward, I will only use him for my events. I start at $100 per hour. Depending on the budget, I can be flexible, however most quotes are all inclusive.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Its imperative that I speak with the customer to verify the scope of work and to hear their vision for their event. At that point I offer suggestions to help the customer achieve their vision and share helpful experiences.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I am customer service oriented. I take this very seriously. Hiring me is a guarantee that all your details will be addressed and that a memorable event will be created. I take pride in what I do and I enjoy what I do. If you do not get that impression from a professional you are considering you should not hire them.
