The painter was prompt, polite and professional. The job took a lot longer than I expected but I believe that was because of weather and a 1-man crew! As the the job quality, I’d say he did a fair job. There were a few discrepancies here and there but all in all he did a decent job. Ipin payment system was very user friendly and easy to use which is especially important for me.

I initially contacted thru Thumbtack but hired through their website. Despite the hefty price tag I went with this company because the time frame to start & be done was great. They started out great but suddenly went MIA after saying the job would be done ahead of schedule. After a few days I contacted them because it seemed they abandoned the job. The project was small. It was to demo a small non load bearing wall understair to expose a closet & smooth it out with minor framing & sheetrock work & replace small section of wood flooring. When they finally got back to the job, they said the flooring material that I had in garage couldn't be used. This was going to add about $300 to an already overpriced project. For some reason also couldn't use old pieces in visible areas. I said i would find the wood need. This delayed the project again. I confirmed with them the size before purchasing, when they returned to the job they said it was size. Apparently 3/8 is not 3/8 with every manufacturer. I was sick of the run around & excuses and paid what was quoted up to that point. If they had completed the job. The initial quote was $4600 for a small demo project. But I wouldve been satisfied paying nearly $5k IF the job was completed, but it was not. I paid $3900 and the remaining amount wouldve been for this section of floor. Update because I'm unable to respond (1) Of course I didn't pay the initial quote of $4600. I did not receive everything outlined in the initial quote. The revised quote that I asked for was $3915. (2) The Project Manager offered to buy a close match for $300. I could get a close match at Home depot for $100 and no shipping cost. After confirming the size needed, that's what I did. When they returned they said it was the wrong size. Like I said, 3/8 is 3/8. (3) There was no discussion about travel fees & i would not have agreed because I would expect any company to work out their errors without passing cost to customers. On top of that, the project was initially delayed from their end because they did not communicate their 3 day break. (4) If partially priming the wall was not a part of final product, thank you.
