- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I offer a complimentary phone chat so that we both can determine if a Training relationship feels right. Some prospects who live within 10 minutes of Buckhead may request an in person meeting. From there, I will provide a specific quote based on any additional logistic factors and location preference of training. I will then send a Service Agreement, which includes request for medical disclosure and a liability clause for the client to review and sign along with first payment of sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am AAAI/ISMA Certified in Personal and Group Training, and Nutrition Consultation. I have been a classically trained dancers since age 6 ( over 40 years!) And am a former high ranking fitness competitor for Ms. Fitness USA.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I was a professional dancer and choreographer for over 20 years. I began teaching teaching group fitness at Jack LaLanne in New York while I was in college. Years later, I entered the Ms Fitness USA Fitness Competition and ranked high as a finalist for 2 years and trained other competitors afterwards. Even while working in other careers, I have always stay very , training intensely with professional athletes and teaching group fitness classes part time. An almost fatal health issue consumed my life for 2 years and extreme fitness training helped me recover physically. That was the spark for me to get certified and begin helping others get into shape through private training.
