I could not have been more satisfied with the work performed by Atlanta Renovations. Tom was very knowledgeable and listened to what I had to say. He even suggested ways that would save me money! Needless to say, I have spread the word about their quality of work and genuine attitude to put the needs of the customer first. I would strongly encourage anyone that has a renovation need to contact Atlanta Renovations. You won't be disappointed.

To be clear, I did NOT end up hiring Pat with Atlanta Renovations. I want to be very clear and specific about why I am rating 1 star. I would rate 0, but am giving a star because Tom was great. Again, Tom was great, on-time, courteous, and professional. However, Pat was evasive and downright rude. To be fair, Pat initially was very helpful and responsive, but when I asked completely reasonable questions he became evasive and, in the end, rude. In early January 2015, I posted a bathroom remodel project and Pat with Atlanta Renovations responded. He was polite and professional and even agreed to do an estimate that same day, which was awesome! Tom came out to do the estimate later that day and I was very pleased and began to get very excited about my bathroom remodel. Tom even suggested some places I could go for materials - Floor & Decor and Home Center Outlet. However, especially as a woman, I am particularly diligent about the contractors I choose to come in and out of my home. So a few days later after I received an estimate with minimal detail from Tom and Pat, I requested additional information regarding the following: (1) who would be doing which work, (2) how many contractors/subcontractors would be doing the work, (3) whether they were all licensed/legitimate contractors/professionals, (4) whether they were bonded and insured, and (5) to clarify in detail the work that would be done. Pat refused to answer any of these questions and instead said the price will go up or I should find another contractor. !!!??? I wish there was a feature here to upload screenshots so I could show the exact email chain. My questions were simple and reasonable. Questions that any professional knowledgeable contractor with a legit business should be able and willing to answer. It was the most unprofessional response I'd received. He wouldn't even bother to answer simple questions regarding the company's licensure and insurance. As a customer, I deserve to know whether these people are legitimate professionals that would be coming into my home. I was extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism and common decency. After I had met Tom I was very excited about getting started on the remodel. The estimate was lacking in ANY detail or even a company logo. As a professional, you should be able to detail and explain the work that you will perform instead of merely stating "replace flooring". A different contractor actually explained in detail that his company would be "removing the existing flooring to the wood decking, replacing damaged decking if needed, installing/screwing down a ½ inch durock on the floor surface, then installing a ceramic tile to be chosen by the customer with a thin set mortar application." He explained it in detail instead of just saying "replace flooring" when I asked. Why was this contractor able to explain his work and Pat was not able to? Not answering my simple reasonable questions and then telling me to just go find another contractor was evasive, unprofessional and rude! In addition, the response seems highly suspect. Why wouldn't he answer my simple questions? Is the company NOT actually bonded and insured? Are the subcontractors NOT legitimate licensed professionals? Does he NOT know how to explain the work? This was a very unfortunate experience because INITIALLY Atlanta Renovations seemed great...and then Pat ruined it.

It was a pleasure. He kept his word and always arrived on time. He and his team were polite, diligent, and hard working. My hardwood kitchen floor is beautiful and done just in time for the holidays. He had all the necessary equipment to complete the job. I have already recommended him to my neighbors.

My experience with Pat and Tom was great. They did some painting and installed a hardwood floor for me. There were some initial issues with the hardwood installation, but after I expressed my concerns, the problem was completely rectified the next day which involved some rather extensive and time consuming work on their part. I would highly recommend them.

Decided to lay laminate wood over tile throughout most of our house. Keith and his crew did an amazing job with not only fixing a few problem areas prior to installation, but did a beautiful job laying all of the floor in one day! Tom followed up with the trim work which made all the difference with the overlook look of the house. The whole team worked ahead of schedule and were very efficient. Highly recommend these guys!
