- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, take them on the course and evaluate what they do from the tee, full swing shots from the fairway, pitch/chips around the green, and their putting stroke. From there we sit down and look at their swing on the computer, looking for strong/weak areas. Then we discuss: 1. find out their goals 2. find out theri motivtion for wanting to play golf 3. how much time are they willing to put into practicing 4. where they play and how often Then we work to develop a personalize custom program to help them reach their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am continually do continuing education. * PGA going to our annual show every year * SAM PuttLab - Level 2 certfication - only 40 in the USA * S&T Certified- Yearly meetings * US Kids Certified- Yearly meetings * Lynn Blake Certified (TGM)- Yearly meetings * Geoff Mangum Putting Zone Instruction * Aimpoint Instruction
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been playing golf for 53 years. Finally decided one day that I would go teach, so I went and got a job at a golf club and started teaching.
